  1. They're up for £400 on the Facebook site
  2. Hi Noz, I'll take it if still available please. If anyone else wants one desperately then happy for them to have it. But I'm still running the original rad in my NA and thinking it'll give up at some point. Very club- spirited of you! Nice to see parts change hands like this!
  3. I'll take the pre-facelift set if still available please
  4. Thanks all - I've decided not to paint mine, but to keep with concrete floors and cardboard if needed.

    Trolley jacks

I'm going to be selling my Costco 3 tonne trolley jack very soon - it's an Arcan XL30R. Pics and a for sale thread coming shortly. It'll be pickup only as it's a weighty beast.
  6. I've got an integral garage with a standard concrete floor. I was thinking of painting the floor with one of those workshop/garage paints. Before I do, it occurred that sealing the floor with a non-porous layer (e.g. paint) might not be a great idea because if the car's wet when I put it away, it'll just drip onto the floor and the water will sit there. With a concrete floor, the water is absorbed into the floor and gradually evaporates back out. The result being no puddles. My garage is very much a working garage - a place for storing the car and other bits n bobs. So it's got to be practical. I'm not fussed about the aesthetics of it. My reason for doing it was to cut down the dust in the garage. It's not super-dusty, but I think a bare concrete floor is an inherently dusty surface. But maybe a lot of the dust in there didn't come from the floor, but from the air. Any thoughts? Anyone painted their garage floor and recommend / not recommend doing it? I found this thread where Tyson says about concrete being a wick - I'd not thought of that. https://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?347949-Garage-floor-options-inspiration-needed-please
  7. Links don't seem to work - looking forward to pictures!
  8. Good work, and thanks for updating the thread. Good to know what the fix was.
  9. That lists both pre-facelift and facelift caps - I wonder how you choose which type you want?
  10. Hi suprano, I'm after a set of prefacelift centre caps - are these still available please?
  11. Bender - your paintwork looks mint. Has it been resprayed?
  12. For those alloys, you can swap between facelift and pre-facelift centre caps - they will both fit. There is a really subtle difference between the facelift and pre-facelift alloys themselves, something to do with the "spines" that get hidden by the centre caps. I forget the details though. 17s are reasonably sought after, IIRC. Couldn't give you a guide price though.
  13. Just searched on toyodiy - I'm pretty sure it's the same for NA and TT. Part number 44250-14210
  14. I'm not sure TBH. I would certainly check if someone had a TT one for sale.
  15. I use a work-supplied Thinkpad with a Thinkpad port replicator/dock thing. The dock has got 2 video outs - VGA and DisplayPort. They are both active and I use 2 monitors (one plugged in to each video out) to have a windows desktop that extends across the screens.
  16. Still lurking - I posted in the Wanted section a couple of days ago, and it's reminded me how great the forum is compared to facebook.
  17. Does your engine malfunction light (looks like a small orange engine) work OK? As Scooter suggested, check it works when the ingition is in 2nd position. You'll need this light to be working, to be able to read off error codes.

    Wifi boosters

I use powerline adapters - I use wired internet where possible, but you can get powerline devices that re-broadcast the wifi. The beauty is that the extender doesn't need to be within wifi range of the original router, because it gets distributed over the power lines. e.g. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0723C86CX/ref=dp_cerb_1 - this would be fine if you have spare mains sockets you're not using. If you don't, then you can get passthrough versions that re-expose the socket for general use.
  19. Anyone have a good steering rack for sale for an NA?
  20. So the club didn't actually buy it, but rather it was a promotional gift from the producers?
  21. I recorded the show. If anyone wants a copy, I'll see about uploading it somewhere.
  22. Looking to hire a car for a trip flying into La Rochelle - any tips on where to go for car hire?
