  1. Thank you for sharing! It's great to see, and plenty of care's gone into it. Have you used MMO in other cars? Is it a good preventative measure in older engines for example? I did a quick google search and lots of confusion / mixed opinions.
  2. Starter motor contacts, the same thing happened to me.
  3. 2nd from the left I think
  4. Ah, so sorry! - I don't think I received a notification of your post, and I don't come on here much any more. Now sold on ebay
  5. Arcan XL30R 3 tonne low profile trolley jack. I used it half a dozen times, but it's too heavy for me to move around. Been stored in the garage the rest of the time, so looks a bit dusty but works fine. Still has the rubber puck on the jacking plate. Collection only from Basingstoke. £50
  6. About 4 years ago I fitted a Witter-style towbar with removable towball to my daily driver. It worked great until recently when I tried to fit the towball and it wouldn't fully click into place. The towball clicks into its receiver on the towbar and feels nice and secure (I can wobble the car around by pulling the towball), but the indicator dial on the towball doesn't move fully into the "safe" position. Has anyone had a simialr problem with a Witter removable towball that wouldn't properly click into place?

  10. Anyone like playing Elite: dangerous? I've seen it's currently 75% off for PS4, so will get myself a copy. Bargain at that price.
  11. It does, but you can use deionised water and change it regularly, and use a fine filter to prevent pumping chunks of it through the system. Flushing with a garden hose means there'll be tap water in the system, which would be a pain to get out. Problematic if you're in a hard water area (like me).
  12. Thank you for the updates! This is really good info, especially with photos too. Great tip with the 12v pump too, making it a closed loop flush

I guess you've bought something that wasn't straight?

    Focus ST

Nice looking car slugger! However we got a dog instead of a new car, so I'll be keeping the 15 year old cmax on the road for a while
  15. They really know their stuff. Tim was chatting away and seems to have an encyclopedic knowledge about cars.

    Focus ST

Would like to get a fun daily driver before I'm too old, to replace a 2006 Cmax - thinking about a Focus ST as I've always liked fast Fords. 4 or 5 doors is a must, hence the ST and not the RS. It would be several years old, can't justify the price of a nearly new one. Does anyone have one as a daily driver? What are running/servicing costs like? Are they reliable? Seen these after posting this topic, but still interested to hear views of people on here: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/focus-st-as-a-daily/126286/page1/ https://www.focusstoc.com/threads/daily-st.547938/
  17. Was at the British Motor Show in Farnborough today, and bumped into these 2 guys. Tim clocked my T-shirt and gave me a teaser that there may be a Supra featured in the next series.
  18. I have a spare ticket for the British Motor Show in Farnborough tomorrow. My friend who I was going with can no longer make it. If anyone on here can make use of it, you can have it.
  19. Love this, and your collection of 90s Toyotas. Do I see an ST205 in the background of one of your pics? 3 of my favourite cars : supra, MR2 MK2, and Celica ST205.
  20. Wouldn't a death cross indicate a sell-off rather than a sideways movement?
  21. CTEK seem top of the game - pretty expensive though. I picked up an obscure brand one from Aldi recently but not used it yet.
