Having sold the Soop last month the money is starting to burn a hole in my pocket. I had initially planned to keep it until the new year, and buy another Evo. Best car i have ever had performance wise......and i would love another one. But in the last week or so, i have been thinking about spending a wedge of it on something else....... The girlfriend has a new Style Mini Cooper. Very nice car, lowered, bodykit, induction kit, 17"s, Stainless Exhaust, Tints, Chrome bitties, etc etc and of late i have been thinking about going VERY individual, and going the route of getting it Turbocharged. Having trouble searching on the internet for a company who can do the job so far though, so its proving a bit harder than i thought. So first question is.......are there any Mini fans on here that can point me in the right direction ? Second option, is to keep most of the money, and buy a project car, i have always liked cleaning up my cars to a stupid proportion, and quite fancy buying an old Series 1 Escort RS Turbo (totally still got appeal and becoming very rare now) and keeping it as a car to just tinker with over time and play about with (not full restoration as that would cost an arm and a leg) just buy a decent one to start with and keep it clean and good cond. So........i was totally bored tonight, money is burning a hole, and i am probably talking shi* lol but wondered what you guys thought of either of these options......or would i be better just keeping the money til next year and stick with the Evo idea...... Mucho comments appreciated........as you can tell i am totally head up my ar5e as to what to do now and starting to wonder if i should have sold the car as i am a wreck without some sort of motor to play with lol. Only 2 problems with breaking your car as a mate of mine found out..... He was desperate for cash to buy the car he wanted.....so decided to break a Skyline GTR R33. The car was valued at £13k at least, and he had everything valued at about the same on it......so started to sell bits.......he got to about 8k and realised that things were slowing down.......2 months later he was at 9k, and had half a car worth of parts and panels left.....engine, g\box wheels, diffs and all the good bits gone........that was a year ago and hes still selling bits....... He is having to drive a crappy Mondeo, and didnt get the car he wanted as he didnt have the funds in time........hes also got 9k for what was a 15 grand car and a heap of bits cluttering up his garage now. Gutted. Risky business unless u can guarantee making the money u want.

Whats to say the guy who bought it from you didnt sell it to this garage / dealer ? Perhaps he bought it and soon found out he couldnt afford it, or even didnt like it, and this dealer snapped it up off him ? I know that i once bought an Escort Cosworth that i had been after for a while, and sold it to a trader at a slight loss 7 weeks later so that i could get a better one that came up.

Evenin' all ! Recently bought a slimline PS2 out of pure boredom, and am trying to hook it up to use online. The thing is i have a laptop, connected via a Wireless connection to my broadband router, and i am unsure how to hook up the PS2 to the laptop so that i can use it online, or even if it can be done Has anyone else done this before and able to offer any info ? Evenin all ! Going on holiday next month, and got the holiday spends all ready to be exchanged into Cyprus pounds. From memory though, i remember that the exchange rate IN cyprus was better there than it was here though, for example it was 0.79 CYP to £1GBP here, but 0.85 CYP to £1 GBP in Cyprus. I have never exchanged currency abroad at a "local" travel agent though, so dont know if there are any pitfalls other than what you find here like commission etc..... So same again this year, the exchange rate for the Cyprus Pound is crap at most places here......so i am wondering if it would be better to do it over there and just take GBP £ with me..........but has anyone done this before ? The difference is actually quite a lot, here it varies between 0.79 and 0.81 to the pound, which on every £1000 GBP is up to an extra 20 cyprus pounds (£25GBP!!) Even better has anyone done it in Cyprus or been / going to Cyprus in the next month or so that could advise ? Any help appreciated........cheers very muckle...... Hey mate I bought a pair for my girlfriends mini (new style) W5W fitment, same as the Supra, they emit a blue but more whiteish light and look superb. Closest things i have found to HID Sidelight bulbs yet. They were £12 delivered i think from a mate who gets them through his work. Best i have found yet.

That is definitely good money for that. What year is it ? Mileage ? I know of one being sold in Japan in Silver, stack dash etc, but not sure on price.....will try to find out.
