Basically its only going to be used for shopping...........transferring a Dobermann from A-B, beach, parks etc. And the occasional trip shopping into the City Centre. So never off road, and not a lot of mileage at all. Honda seems more reliable, but Toyota seems a bit more specced...........!?!

Evening folks My dad is buying my mum a new 4x4 in order to better enable her to transport the new dog around..........choices are below.....both brand new.........but cant decide which to get..........can anyone recommend one ? Toyota RAV-4 VVti XT3 5 Door Petrol Auto Honda CR-V 2.0 VTEC 5 Door Petrol Auto Anyone care to shed some advice and maybe opinions / experiences of either to help make a choice ? Very true and i second that, many a time have i spent ten days or so bidding on an item with no reserve.......making sure i am still in the lead.......and with 2-3 hours or so to go the auction is ended early, obviously because the seller wants more. Mega mega mega annoying.

I run Diamond Valet in Aberdeen with my dad, we use the whole range of Auto Glym.........Super Resin for most cars, but we also have 3M Cutting Polishes for the cars that need it. Finesse by 3M is a good polish for cutting back and then just use a good Resin Polish but i dont know if its available to public and its hard work the Finesse. Easier with a machine polisher, but these too can be a disaster waiting to happen if used wrong. Have you tried the Meguiars Light Scratch and Swirl Remover ? Its like a black squeezy tube and you do one panel at a time, i used this on a black Civic Type R and it came up a treat after that and a good hand polish with Auto Glym I also use Diamondbrite to seal in the shine on all my cars as well as selling it, personally dont think you will get a better finish if its used and maintained "properly". Have a look at some of the work in the website http://www.diamondvalet.co.uk In the pics or previous work section. Afraid its just elbow grease and choosing something thats not too harsh on a black car. Remember to do it in straight lines as much as possible too or you will end up ten times worse off with a shiney "swirley" car all over HTH Michael

Looks identical to the Abflug one that i had on my TT J-Spec, never seen one for sale anywhere though, but it was stamped and pressed with the Abflug logo on it.

Watched it late last night.......... Theres the 200mph club on there, TOTB3 Taster, and the GTI Tuning Show Internaional The 200mph club part is ok, nothing majorly good, dudes car is on there and pretty impressive, amongst a few Skylines etc. The TOTB 3 part is also quite good, just a basic short version of what you would get if you bought the DVD..........Some good footage though and probably the best bit being when Dan Joyce inhales Nitrous lol !!! Not watched the GTI Tuning show part yet........will do that later today

Someone on here recently had problems similar and it was the Crank Sensor. I would also suggest checking out the fuel pump though as it could be this. I had a fuel pump go on my evo 5 and it gradually had these symptoms until it wouldnt start at all. HTH Michael
