Am sure it will work out mate, i went through much the same when i worked offshore, got turned down for 30+ jobs on the trot, and when i wasnt expecting anything i was head hunted from out of the blue. Very surprising. Something always turns up, its just how you handle the "time in between" that is a PITA i know. Very frustrating and demoralising,but flick them the bird, and fill out the next application / go to the next interview fresh as a daisy! In the end things work out for the good. Its the way of the world my friend.

No its not just the nut.....the nut tightens to a point, but then the whole thing just spins......apparently its common.....but how do you get it to tighten properly onto the bolt ? I feel a bit for not managing.

Been at it all day and i feel like a right idiot, but i will be bu66ered if i can figure out how to do it...... Fitting a front drivers side drop link......get the nuts so tight, and then the nut spins all the way through and i cant get it to tighten......theres nothing to hold onto and nothing on the other side of the nut to put a screwdriver in etc.... Is this an air line "quick nip up" job or am i missing something ? Any help appreciated as the car is sitting on 3 wheels and a jack just now lol

Previously been selling a few items on ebay, and initially downloaded the "Picture services" small software download, thats their own little bit of software that resizes, and uploads the pics to their site for you. Things have been fine since. But last night i went to sell another item and there was no option to add pictures to my listing. When i clicked on "add a picture" nothing happens. I clicked on "ebay picture services" but the small boxes which say "add picture" are not even appearing in my sell item page where i add details and pictures. And, the only way i could add a picture to my listing was by adding it to the internet and linking from there. Which is the other option, but takes ages !! Is it possible i need to re-doanload the software ? If so can someone please direct me to the area as i have been searching the ebay picture services help topics for four hours and cannot find a download. Cheers Michael

Regardless of who you bought it from........some previous owner has been up to no good. I would be getting in contact with DVLA as soon as possible and seek their advice. Hope its all a simple problem to sort out.

Dont talk to me about Couriers, had the same problem recently ...... my cousin wanted a front splitter sent off so i phoned round, Parcelfarce wouldnt take it as they said their max length was 3 feet and the rest of them said they didnt do public to public deliveries and i needed an account nowadays..... So it now seems that if you want a large box sending around the UK then basically unless you have a business account your shafted !! Great country we live in...........

Been trying to get access to listen to a Cypriot Radio Station i heard last year on holiday, called "Bayrak Radio 1" Its the Northern Cyprus radio station, from the Famagusta region, broadcasting on 1098AM. I found a world radio website (tvradioworld.com) but they dont appear to offer (Bayrak) an online listening service, or not one that i can find anyways......can anyone offer any advice on how i can get to hear this over here in the UK? Any help much appreciated Michael

The interior is fully stripped, Keith has even removed most of the wiring from the car, bar the main engine loom to further reduce weight, the doors are fibreglass, and the interior has only partial dash and one seat lol. Superb achievement

KEITH COWIE BREAKS FASTEST GTR RECORD AGAIN !!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi all Just spoken to Keith Cowie on the phone about two hours ago (OS Giken on the forum), he is down at Rotorstock, and he has managed to DEMOLISH the fastest 4wd European Drag 1/4 Mile record again (his own) with a 9.3 second quarter mile !! Thats after breaking it with a 9.6 two weeks ago as well ! Terminal speed is unknown as yet as he hadnt collected his slip, but this thing is an absolute monster and is getting better and better all the time. He still has tomorrow to run as well !! He has managed to pick up another trophy for fastest of 32 cars selected as well. Absolutely superb, well done Keith. Very very well deserved !! Michael

Been panicking a bit lately as MOT time was coming up and its a time i hate cos u never know whats going to happen......and ur kinda at the mercy of any grumpy / strict tester........but my car has only done 4000 miles since its last MOT so quietly nervous, i booked it in for this morning and left it at the test station at 9am........ Phone rings at work at 9:50am, and its the guy to say it had sailed through the test, not only that but it was "one of the cleanest and freshest imports that the MOT tester had seen in 11 years of testing" Not even so much as one advisory on anything. Very very happy guy today and really enjoyed the drive back to work when i picked the car up, now all i have to do is get my road tax renewed on Tuesday urgh :thumbdown Lovin the Soop and the nice weather !!
