I can't understand how the FIA came up with Hamilton's punishment. So we had Hamilton and Raikkonen fighting for the lead, with the others way behind. Hamilton took the lead and finished first - even if he'd slammed on the brakes and didn't cut the corner, he would've finished at least second. So the only person really affected by it was Raikkonen - who crashed out anyway. So why the time penalty that moved him down into fourth?

When you put aside all of the frenzy-whipping tabloid headlines, how many times has religion actually directly had an adverse effect on any of the posters here? Now that I think about it I can't think of a single time it's done me any harm (and I'm not counting terrorism, the IRA had a passion for blowing things up long before we'd heared of al-qaeda). I've heard so many religious based horror stories in the news you'd think we were all rioting and panicking in the streets. I have however, seen plenty of good done - Christian aid organisations etc. Religious beliefs do seem silly to me, but each to their own.

Playing devil's advocate here, what do you define as a fair payout? Soldiers join the armed forces of their own free will (and for various reasons, I don't for a second believe that it's always to 'protect our great nation'), knowing that they'll be put into dangerous situations where they may be harmed, maimed or killed. Many other careers are dangerous, fisherman, cycle courier, highway worker, deep sea diver to name a few - I never hear any news stories shouting for more compensation for them.

That's what I heard too.... that a lorry carrying chemicals somehow 'fell over' and caught fire. What's that got to do with overheating brakes? Not being nasty, just interested.

From a very biased point of view, I like my mondeo TDCI.... I'm sure the estate version would be a good work horse.

My Mondeo has a puncture. Fitted the steel spare without any mishaps (apart from picking the same few minutes as a downpour of rain ). I remember hearing that you have to use different wheel nuts with alloys than you do with steel wheels..... I have no others, just the long-ish ones that were on the alloy. Is the wheel going to fall off in the morning?

After three minutees of listening to that music, I was hoping the end of the world would happen now!

One thing that I've wondered about the unlimited roads in Germany, presumably their lorries are limited to the same sort of speed ours are (around 100kmh isn't it). Which means there's a huge difference between the lorry's speed, and the speed of the cars around them. Are there many brown trouser moments with people having to break hard to avoid lorries overtaking lorries etc? Obviously the 70mph speed limit here is very outdated, but one of the main reasons I wouldn't want to see it changed is the difference between the fastest cars and the slowest ones.... but if the Germans can do it...............?

I got a nice refund of about £30 this year, as has already been said I think they only audit it all at the end of the tax year (5th April). Anything outside this time is probably a scam. In case you're stupid enough to think that they'll EMAIL you information like this, that's another thing to help you spot it's a scam.

Really sorry to hear this, must be awful. Can't offer any medical advice, but like others have said it must be worth checking to see if it's an allergy if it appeared overnight - the conspiracy theory surrounding diet coke / artificial sweeteners springs to mind. Really hope things get better for you soon.
