  1. I'm pretty sure that's the one that drove past my window really early this morning, in convoy with an F40 and another supercar, so bloody quick I didn't get a proper look but they sounded very nice!!!
  2. Why not try Steve Manley, he's alawyas been very prompt on the delivery for me.
  3. If you like the look of them and like stand mounts then definitely give them a try, they're great speakers. Actually a few years ago I had 805's with a MF Nuvista M3 and 3D and it really was superb, just a shame I had to sell!
  4. I've had a pair of Nautilus 803s and 805s and to be honest I've tried a few other speakers in the past and nothing came close, they do require good amplification and a good source though as with most decent speakers. As for other brands you could take a look at Sonus Faber, Focal, Monitor Audio, Dynaudio... But like RedM says I guess it's best to hear them with your own ears first, but there are so many different factors it's often difficult to decide short of getting them back home in your own system - but then you end up having to buy from an expensive dealer which I try to avoid...
  5. I've always been a big B&W fan, you might be able to pick up a pair of second hand B&W Nautilus 804's at that price if you're lucky, otherwise second hand 805's would be within budget, or if you want to drop down a range, you could look at the CDM series. http://www.bowers-wilkins.com/

  7. Honda CRX Mk2, you'll definitely be able to get a 1.6 16v for that, maybe even a VTEC if you're lucky. Great cars, fun to drive, decent economy and fine on long drives.

    Re-spray / GVN

Just out of interest how much is a full respray in the same colour likely to cost at GVN?
  9. The Supra is a great combination, very quick, great looks (better than a 996/M3/etc IMHO), four seats and awesome reliability. On the topic of Porsche's, my flatmate's dad has a 2000 996 C4. Purchased from a main dealer, regularly serviced and very well looked after with 30k miles yet he's had no end of problems with it, the most major of which has been failure of the head gasket leaving him with a bill of around £8k, and apparently it's just happened again! It's certainly put me off the idea of Porsche ownership... I can't think of any other car with the same level of power and reliability as the Supra. All that said I do quite fancy something that's a little more involving and nippy - in my old CRX VT I used to nail it out of the lights at every opportunity, in the Supra I feel like I've become a bit of a cruising old man! Ultimately I'd love to have a track day car on the side which quite a few people on here to seem to do...
  10. Have a word with Jeveniso in a few weeks after he's given his new built single a good run in, he's got a 996 Turbo too, would be interesting to hear a comparson
  11. Francis - 1.6bar - 499rwhp / 470lbs
  12. Looks fantastic, lovely stock looking Supra too. Loving the gauges, what about the stereo?
  13. Low milage UK TT6 which doesn't sound like it's been boosted, easily worth the money, the only thing that might hold it back is the colour, but I think white looks great!
  14. Nice looking red J-spec with BBS LM's parked outside Raffles around 11:30pm Friday evening. Anyone on here?
  15. American's change their engine oil almost as regularly as they fill up their fuel tanks, there are special garages that just do drive through style oil changes and it's not a big deal like it is here.. Could this be a factor? Also as far as I'm aware they're only allowed US supplied Supes over there so presumably most will have fully documented history . Most of the Supe's I've seen in the states have been immaculate.
  16. Bloody hell, how did the bonnet do that? Had you made any modifications to it?
  17. I doubt it'd be worth the effort of taking out most of those mods, but certainly going back to the stock UK spec wheels might be an easy option - you should be able to get a decent amount for the Do Luck's...
  18. Saw this one at the Pod, lovely example undoubtedly worth top dollar - £12k+ Difficiult decision, especially if you have to sell her, but I'd imagine you'd get better value for money by buying one already singled.
  19. Sorry to hear about this mate, hope you get her back. Scary that it had a Cat 1 alarm in place too, I thought these were pretty infallable, obviously not...
  20. Hi there guys, Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for an alarm fitter in London? I'm probably looking at a Clifford Concept 650 Mk2, I just want a reliable Cat 1 install which won't keep setting itself off! Preferably around the 350 quid mark... Any recommendations for someone safe and reliable? Cheers, Francis
  21. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=677448&postcount=181 That's my HIDs installed, as you can see the beam pattern isn't cut off in a straight line as you'd find in a OEM HID kit and there is a little bit of glare but not much and I certainly don't find people flashing me...
  22. Anyone know what wheels those are? They look awesome!
  23. Very uesful to know, must be just down the road from Phoenix too..
  24. Fantastic deal for anyone after one. After you've had the 996 Turbo for a while I'd love to see a review on how it compares with the Supra
  25. Nice Mini Out of interest which 996 are you going for? Keeping the Supe?
