  1. You guys drove through around 1pm, I had the Smart car though!
  2. Hi there guys, Just wanted some advice as a landlord... It seems the waste pipe from the dishwasher in my flat fell out and was leaking through the floor boards. I've now fixed the waste pipe, but my tenants got a letter through the door from the tenants below who have noticed a wet patch on their ceiling. My question is who does the responsibility lie with to fix any water damage? The service charge for the block includes building insurance and I have my own contents insurance which covers such things within my flat... Cheers, Francis
  3. Hi there guys Planning on doing a weekend road trip to France this weekend... just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of really nice places to go within a few hours of Calais, there's obviously Paris but parking might not be the easiest... If anyone has any suggestions, including good hotels/places to stay that aren't too pricey I'd greatly appreciate it!! Cheers, Francis
  4. Looks good but aren't these kind of things prone to shorting the battery?
  5. 16-21: Honda CRX 1.6VT - cracking car, light weight, fantastic engine and really good fun - I still miss this car, just a shame it was getting a bit old and rusty. 21-present 24: UK TT6 24-present: Smart Fortwo Pulse for the daily commute to work - I know it's not Japanese but it's a great little car ideal for central London..
  6. Great speakers, I have Focal Utopia's which I couldn't be happier with. Is that a JL W7 in the boot? That's some pretty nice kit!
  7. Definitely Ben-san, I saw him! Are you based nearby?
  8. Hey Ben Heard and then saw you driving down Kings Road today, I was sitting down at Duke of York's Square. Sounded very nice!

    Defi gauges

My boost gauge came with everything I needed. You'll just need to find somewhere to mount them, I only have one gauge so I mounted it in one of the air vents which provides a perfect sized mounting space.
  10. Spotted you sitting in traffic on your way out of London this evening. I was in the blue smart car LOL
  11. I've had my iPhone for a while now and I love it. I've been through loads of phones, N95, Communicators, and the like and to be honest none of them came close. The iPhone is sorely missing 3G but other than that it's superb and many times more functional than any of my old phones were. Some of the apps you can get for it (once unlocked) are great too..

  13. Anyone on here? I was parked up on the green when I saw you go past
  14. Steve has pulled out as they're not the right fit for his NA-T. These are ideal for a BPU TT.... £40 to eBankers for tonight only!
  15. £40 including P&P only if you have a HSBC bank account and can do an internet transfer tonight!
  16. Price reduction: 45 quid for the next week before these go back in the cupboard!
  17. Not sure if these would be suitable for a NA, any other members know? I could do PayPal although eBanking would be better... I'm in London.
  18. Brand new in boxes, £50 including first class recorded P&P. Was going to hang on these for the next service but could do with some pocket money for my trip to Japan so I'm clearing out the bedroom! Payment via eBanking preferred. Many thanks, Francis
  19. I'd definitely check your battery. This one baffled me once.... all the electrics worked fine, the stereo, lights etc but it simply wouldn't start - gave that ticking noise... I guess Supra's need a fair amount of current to get them going and a battery on its way out might not be able to provide that.
  20. Hi there guys My current insurance premium is with Lancaster who have been very good value, around £600 quid for the last year on a UK spec. I've just received my renewal and they are no longer able to insure me... They quote an alternative renewal premium for £1499 with an "alternative" insurer. A bit surprising, they seem to have changed their tune on nice cars with youngish drivers - I told my friend who just bought a 968 CS to try them and they wouldn't touch him! Anyway I guess I'll be looking to alternatives... The usual suspects - Elephant, A-plan... Any other ones worth trying for a 24 year old Dr in a UK-spec? Cheers, Francis
  21. Personally I'd say save the money and invest in something else. Large loans with favourable interest rates are difficult to come by in the current climate too - it'll end up bleeding you dry.
  22. Hi Ben, I replaced mine for a Fluidyne, paid 299 for it from MKIVStore back in the day. It's a nice piece of kit, fits well and although I didn't put it in myself I hear they fit like stock.
