Hi guys, Having a bit of a clear out of parts having sold the UK spec Supra 1) Genuine Toyota V160 gearbox oil - 1l new and boxed, will throw in another bottle with about 100ml in. £40 delivered 2) Two O2 sensors - they were working perfectly fine, just went through a period of replacing stuff for new. Didn't notice much difference in MPG with the new ones in the end! £20 each or £35 for both delivered. 3) Single boot rubber - the ones that go on the chassis side. £2 delivered 4) Pair of rubber exhaust hangers new in bags £5 delivered (for the pair) 5) I have a set of four standard shocks off my UK spec manual. I was given these parts with the car 7 years ago, I don't think they've seen much if any use. Offers invited, although they would likely need to be collected in Earls Court due to the weight. I'm not in a hurry but thought I'd put it out there, especially as I am doing a short trip to Frankfurt/Mannheim and back through Reims/France next week/end if anyone wanted to view in Europe. Last time I bought a Tesco policy which was pretty reasonable but most companies seem to have imposed limits on the car's age (most 15 yrs max)... Hi there guys, Finally need to get round to fitting a good car alarm to replace the Clifford that went wrong and was removed a couple of years ago! Firstly was wondering what the best alarm is these days? Don't need anything fancy, just reliable and secure. Would a Clifford Concept 650 mk2 be a good choice? Secondly, anyone know of any good and reasonably priced installers around London, preferably central/SW? Cheers, Francis

Hi there guys Well I've recently returned from some travels and the Supra has been kept in underground garage storage for the past 8 months or so. I'm keen to get her back on the road and serviced but it seems there's been a bit of an oil leak. Not entirely sure where it's come from but don't want to start her up until I know it's safe. It's quite a large puddle of oil but the engine oil dipstick is up to full. I've attached a photo of the underside... Any ideas or things I should check? Cheers, Francis

Hi there guys, I'm currently in Mannheim, Germany visiting my girlfriend. Already been to the Hockenheimring and seen some Porsche series racing! Am heading back to the UK on Wednesday to Dunkirk and looking on the map, the Nurburgring is directly on the way back - it'd be rude not to! The only downer is I'm in the Smart car LOL but feel like calling by and maybe doing a lap none the less! I've had a look at their website and it seems you pay 22 euros for a lap, but at the check out it all goes to German! Does anyone know how it works? Do you get a time slot or just turn up? Do you have to queue (as obviously I'll have a ferry to catch!). Any good places nearby worth visiting? Cheers! Francis

Just got back from Mill Hill Nissan, having test driven the new GT-R. Wow! I've seen the car in the flesh many a time, and I still think it looks superb. Had a quick blast.... Blisteringly quick, no delay with the power and the gear changes are so quick and smooth at full pelt.... it really is a rocket, could see myself losing my license very quickly in one! Didn't get to give it a go on some twisty's but I'm sure it's equally as competent. Hmmmm.. very tempting, can't help but feel that all that speed would be wasted on the kind of roads I drive on (central London and up to Northamptonshire on the M1 from time to time )

My friend has moved to Japan and has left me with the task of selling his pride and joy. It's an Audi TT 225 Quattro in black with 79k miles on the clock and a full service history. It is in superb condition inside and out and feels like new. It has the usual mod cons including climate control, Xenon headlights, Bose sound system with upgraded Sony CD/MP3 head unit with iPod connectivity in the glove box. It has 18" RS wheels. It is in standard form and has not been modified. It's been maintained regardless of cost and has always been garaged. It is HPI clear, has MOT till July 2010 and Tax till October 2009. It comes with three keys (two with remotes) and one emergency key and all of the original documents. Of note it had two new Bridgestone front tyres, an aircon regas and oil change in July 2009. In November 2008 it had a new clutch, flywheel, cambelt and water pump. Overall a superb example that has been very well looked after, is fully sorted with all the expensive maintainence already done. The car is available to view in Chelsea, London. Hi guys, I am thinking of going on a track day with a 105db static noise limit. Just wondering if my Supe would be ok with that.... It's a UK TT6 double decat with HKS Racing Ti exhaust.... If not what would my best option be? Temporarily put the cats back in? Unfortunately I lost the muffler thing.... Cheers, Francis

HIDs are perfectly suited to the Supra's projectors. Not an immaculate cut off but pretty damned good. I get much more problems with my Smart car and it's scattered reflectors!
