  1. Each to their own, all I know is that the system regarding turbo 2working sequentially would not work with fuel rail and 680cc injectors brought into the equation (ie 680 divided by 440 to form the percentage fueling) and nobody could offer any answers (here included) whilst still retaining the original ecu (auto trans) and a piggy back, the additional injectors solved the issue and give no probs (455rwhp on hybrids).
  2. The two additional injectors squirt from the elbow immediately before the plenum so there is already a fuel/air mix in the plenum rather than just air, have never had any problems with this set-up and the car certainly performs well enough, as the E-manage does not have to alter the ratio to the larger injectors (the switching voltage is affected to the same percentage) the switching for turbo 2 is not affected, incidentally HKS only make two ready made elbows, for the Supra and RX7, both of which run sequential turbo set-ups!
  3. Hi carl0s You've been PM'd Also Have Gunmetal Facelift TT Auto

  8. Bit of an unknown one that, but a mate of mine who does bodykits (mainly Skylines and 200SXs) has the mold for it if anyone wants one. Am hoping to develop a wide mouth full bumper based on it.
  9. Yep car was completely standard when I bought it 4 years ago no kit stock 16'' wheels and no power mods whatsoever, the brakes were one of the first things to be done. They work well and can certainly be trusted to bring to a stop, the only issue that I feel is a problem is that the bleed nipples are made of stainless and are reluctant to make a seal when tightening down, although not as nice to look at KAD supplied me with mild steel items which cured the issue, I used KAD over AP units as the AP set-up would not clear the wheels, will be honest and say that if the wheel issue was not there I would have gone for the AP's but am happy with the set up in general. Have just been out for a blast with a mate with a modded R33 GTR - - - GOD I LOVE MY SUPRA
  10. Hi Rayman, Blitz Nur, full decat, Blitz induction, FMIC, stage 3 hybrids, 264 ex & in, steel headgasket, greddy Emanage, additional 680cc injectors AVFC-R, Tein Flex, KAD 356mm brakes = 455rwhp Was having an overboost issue and an intermittent issue to get sequential boost through the range and especially on kickdown (boosts and kickdowns on both turbos with TTC), had fitted a new pressure can and taken it to get it tweaked. Boost levels now stable, but the kickdown/2nd turbo problem still intermittent - ANY IDEAS ON THIS ONE APPRECIATED !!!!
  11. That was me and yes I had been at Hyper we were just out on boost test, looks like you had kept the old wash sponge close to yours as well. I was not looking quite so mint by the time I got back to Reading in the evening.
  12. Sorry guys for not joining in earlier, work gets silly at the beginning of the week when you fit a whole week's hours into three days, but who cares it's now the weekend . . . . Agree a great show with cars of an excellent standard throughout, will be hounding Tony for the connection to the next one. Hopefully have two turbos working then for some real fun.
  13. Was running the stock recirculating valve but has now been changed for a BOV, would not think that they would both have a problem.
  14. Hi JohnA - Not sure why Nic is answering about his car but NO my turbos still run in the sequential mode and the power curve does exactly what would be expected, a strong rise with the first turbo a slight dip as the 2nd comes in and then a strong rise again until it reaches 4,000rpm.
  15. Thanks Jake. Have only gone on other peoples suggestions, but will give it a try, will let you know what transpires.
  16. That is an idea that hasn't been endorsed by two tuners. The problem was initially diagnosed on Thor's dyno (August), their suggestion was removing the front cat, nothing more only an invoice, I purchased a front de-cat pipe, fitted it and took the car back to go on the dyno again (September), fault still there and another invoice, they had no constructive solution to offer and the car then ran terribly, they did not suggest the EVC5. Car than went to Hyper who have remapped it and removed all the problems that were installed in September and again have made no connection to the EVC5. It is only that other people I have spoken to have had the same problem (not Supras) and the actuator has been at fault.
  17. Can anyone help me? I get a drop in boost pressure once I get to 4000rpm it climbs fine till I get to this point then from 1.25 it drops to approx 1.1 and from 1.5 it drops to 1.3. There is no significant drop when the EVC5 is switched off. I am running stage 3 hybrids and it has been suggested that the actuators may be at fault ? ? ? ? However if this is the case where can I get some new ones, Toyota only sell them with new turbos (no go on that one) and have had no success from any other sources. Your thoughts please guys.
  18. Hi guys 200+ Club meet at the Jekyll & Hyde Pub A33 Reading to Basingstoke next Sunday at 3pm, nice garden & good food etc available all day, hopefully good weather too. The more the merrier - Anybody up to join us ?
  19. I am an older fart but got the best deal with mods declared from Keith Michaels, Tesco were cheap when car was standard but didn't want to know and doubled the premium when informed of what were really the basic of mods. Have stuck with KM since then.
  20. You're okay, the 200+ is bhp not mph, a bit of an under achievement for all the Supras out there, gives a club with a bit of variety tho, last meet the turnout included Audi Quattro, Skylines, 200SX and even some Ferraris in the line up, will keep you informed when we have a date. Regards Dave.
  21. I run 264in & ex with stage 3 hybrids, plus additional injectors, e-manage etc, idle is not significantly lumpy but does have an admired throb to it, do however find that off the mark when used in anger there is a bit of lag but when all comes on song she really flies the slight delay is an acceptable side affect of the conversion - just do it you know you want too
  22. Hi that was me, did see you there and did wave a hand just as we pulled up at the junction at the end of Waterloo Road, obviously you're a local by the confident way you went through the width restriction. Would have pulled over for a chat but was running a bit late for an MoT test (it passed) so my apologies. I am a southern rep for the 200+ club, will be organising a local meet in the next few weeks, will post when date is finalised, maybe some of the guys would be interested in coming along, would be nice to see a few Supras in attendance.
  23. You could possibly get the pipes fabricated by one of the custom exhaust makers, could then be done in stainless, Longlife, Powerflow etc may be able to oblige.
  24. Can any of you guys tell me the offset on the 16'' wheels ? ? ? ?
