Think that is just about the max this box can handle before it flips up. Its the heat that will wreck it. So get urself a large tranny cooler and maybe replace with electric fans and that will prob add more miles to ur box. but ive heard autos slipping at 260rwhp at WOT. Apparently u can run the TT auto box which can handle ~500rwhp but u will have to go AEM EMS standalone I think.

we got a place called andrew watts in glasgow where i got them from. just bought a bosch universal type. spoke to this guy before and he said that the voltages of the wires might be different and it can mess up the ecu. but i just said to myself.....yeah why not and its worked out ok.

think the >july 97 ones are a different type. u mite need to ask the guys from supraforums. not sure if its 1 wire or the 3 wired ones. i replaced mines with bosch ones £30quid each and works a treat. think theyre £130 from mr t.

Loads of money spent. This has been asked loads and loads of time. loads of ppl have thought they can make this na power machine but everybody have just given up and gone turbo instead. The cost for a good turbo kit ~$4-5k with a T61 run that easily. Bits for that na power: stroker kit, lightweight rods, pistons, pullies, cam gears, cams, xerd headers, remove cats......strip the interior. That is gonna be expensive easily >£10000 Good luck.

im thinking of getting 18x9J +47 and 18x10 +47 will these fit on the supra? what kind of tyre sizes should i go for? is the driveability ok? will i need any modifications to the wheel arches gary

for body damage i recommend John at Glenfargs in Glasgow. This guy always does a terrific job for me at a very decent price. for bodykits I was recommended to J B Coachworks in paisley. But personally ive not had anywork done from them. ask marc at the garage in wishaw if he can do it or know any places 01698 375789.

rite i recently changed the battery to one of those halfords calcium 005 type. car starts fine all the time but its always 3/4 full. at the traffic lights with light and stereo on it drops down one bar and when the car is moving it charges back up to 3/4. thought mite be dodgy alternator but i phoned up this alternator and starter specialist and they said that if the car starts fine then its not the alternator. ok so what else shall i look for? ive already taken out my sub.

When i did the coolant bypass mod i had extra hosing. so i cut about 2 inch long bit of hosing squeezed some silicone to the ends. let the silicone set then used the bits of sealed hoses to cap the ends.

All i did was just to cut about an inch of hose and inject loads of silicone to the end and wait to set. then used these to cap the ends. not had any problems at all.

On my way home last nite going up this slope and seen a nice white soop parked at the bottom. Driver was standing outside.
