  1. Thanks for all the well wishes guys, I'm very excited ! Gonna be finding out in a week or so Did drop you a message bookface mate
  2. Hi Guys, Right, all sorted. This is exactly what is going on with AFR. As you all know, John is back at austec in Crawley. AFR Tuning UK will be continuing under John and Paul from Crawley. As for me, well I am off to very different shores ! I have agreed to relocate to Minneapolis in America, and I have taken a 50% share in a tuning company in Minneapolis. The company there will be rebranded as AFR Tuning USA, or similar, and I will be working from there. The company I am working with has a full retail parts website, so we will be offering very nicely priced parts for you all from America. More details to come on this, but parts bought through AFR america will be subject to discounted fitting in the UK All details to be worked out and then posted up. I visited Minneapolis a few weeks ago and will be going again before christmas for a two week period, then it's back home to sell the house and emigrate John and I will continue to work together and we have a lot going on. We both wish continue on here as traders under AFR Tuning, working together. I would like to wish John all the best in the UK, and expect to see posts from me from the other side of the pond For now, can I please ask that all enquiries are directed to John.
  3. AFR Tuning will be coming off the forum as a trader. We will still be going but not as a trader on here. Many thanks to all for their custom in the past.
  4. I know what you mean as we've just broken up our Impreza, but that had no history etc. Don't think I could do it.
  5. MOT'd this morning, will be taxed tomorrow. Took some better pics at the weekend albeit still with an iPhone Will be going on the dreaded ebay at the weekend
  6. No worries. It plugs into the Defi controller that goes with the gauges and so shows information on anything that goes to the Defi boost controller. Looks like this And info from Defi's website here http://www.defi-shop.com/products/end/vsd_x/summary_vsdx/
  7. Found one from 2004 with the early front bumper and silver wheels. http://www.deepvision.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=13&pos=80 And again at about 3:30 Just looking for the later show with the later style bumper on the car now and gold alloys Original sale page on Trials website http://www.trial.co.jp/osaka/export/stock/stock_cars/supra/supra.htm
  8. Thanks Adam, yeah I hope it stays in the UK but had a lot of response from the pistonheads ad. If it didn't need the vinyls redoing etc then I would have it up for £20k.
  9. I will have a look mate Right, will answer PMs etc Basically the car was sold but the money hasn't arrived yet, and until it does then it's for sale
  10. Ah gotcha, will email pics matey Got quite a few emails from PH already
  11. It's about 650fwhp, quarter mile terminal was 126mph on a complete road setup
  12. I *think* this was done by Trig on the forum, always made me smile http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/737034.aspx
  13. Cheers dude, she's a real one off I know what you mean mate given the history, but she's such a great road\track car it would be a bit of a shame There will certainly never be another like it, I usually hate graphics, and I can guarantee if I put graphics on a car it would like awful But this just looks the nuts, and the attention it gets is amazing ! Always puts a smile on my face
  14. Hi guys, This is not a sale of AFR parts, it's personal stuff 1. Defi boost, oil temp and oil pressure gauges, with controller and all wiring, also includes tacho connector and defi warning light. £450 2. Not easy to get hold of any more, but I have a Defi VSD X HUD Display with controller. £200 3. Used Apexi AVC-R Boost controller. Good boost controller with variable duty vs rpm £250
  15. Hi Guys, As some of you know, I sold the car to the guy that owns the 'Green with Envy' Supra, currently being redone at Titan. He bought the car to use whilst his was at Titan, but I agreed he would give me first refusal. So I got it back a couple of months ago. Sadly I don't have time to look after and use her, so she's for sale. History. This car was originally a low mileage black TT bought by Trial in Japan and built from the ground up as their Demo car. Trial is now one of the biggest tuners in Japan with a reputation for excellent track focused cars. The bodykit is THE prototype bodykit, all Trial bodykits come from this kit. Quantum suspension are based in Pulborough in Sussex, and make serious handbuilt suspension. Trial flew them out to supply a suspension system and set it up. The car has been round Tsukuba in a very respectable time ! I'll try and find the time, I have it somewhere. Since it's been in the UK, it has been featured in Japanese Performance and also was shown on the actual Toyota stand at Goodwood festival of speed last year. WARNING ! This car is not for you if you don't like attention ! Where ever I go, I get waved at and have phones pointed at me all the time Driving back from the first Suprapod, I had someone overtake me and the passenger was hanging his torso out of the car to get a photo !!! I sold the car for £21k nearly two years ago. It's a very unique car, looks the part and goes very well. The car is available today for £16k Given you would pay a good £12-13k for a reasonable single turbo 6 speed Supra, bit of a bargain really. The reason is it needs some cosmetic loving and I just dont have the time. The reflective vinyls have a life span, and therefore have become quite cracked. Basically, this is a VERY easy project for someone. Remove the vinyls, get a bodyshop to fix a few cosmetic blemishes, cut and polish and then get the vinyls redone. I've had a quotation from a well known vinyls company to redo the graphics, the quote was £600-£900 and I can pass on their details, but they do many racecars etc. I reckon if someone where to spend £2000 on the car, it would be back to perfect. This car will always be unique and special I will get the car MOT'd, taxed and polished this week, then post up current pictures. But everyone knows the car Pics are in my garage. Who ever buys this will have an absolute blast, I have
  16. I see another scary visit to TDi coming up Looking forward to next season already, lot of work to do before then though.
  17. Really ? Very odd. Ryan has seen my maps and has no issue, we actually get on very very well. Ryan has teased me about my maps being a little 'conservative' if anything, so to say mine are aggressive is somewhat laughable Dude's engine had no marks of det and perfect colouration after making 1160 at the hubs, I don't think I'm terrible I wont lose sleep over it, but does seem very odd.
  18. Coil outputs are switched to ground, not a problem just run 12v to one side of the relay and switch to earth using the coil output. ECUs dont generally output 12v, if it does it's very low amperage.
  19. Time to hang up the scissors and sell the 350 This is a genuine UK supplied vehicle with just one owner previously. Full Specification is : 350Z 3.5v6 Roadster GT 6 Speed Manual Finished in Gun Metal Silver Metallic Full Leather Heated Seats Seats are fully electric Cruise Control Climate Control In Dash 6CD Stereo Full BOSE audio system RAYS 18" Lightweight Alloy Wheels GT Pack Includes the Brembo brakes front and rear Vehicle Dynamic Traction Control HID's When supplied new, the vehicle had the GardX Paint Protection System applied. The car also has a built in Nokia Blutooth 'Phone Kit The car was MOT'd last week and the tax runs out end of December this year. In the past few weeks I have done the following : Refurbish all alloy wheels £260.00 Respray front bumper and wings to get rid of a few stone chips £400.00 Aircon service and regas £60.00 New Battery Also had a clutch about 6 months ago. The car has full service history and has been well looked after. The dealer supplied folder includes vehicle manual, service history, original stereo pin card and original sale invoice £31,748.00. I also have both keys and the master key. This car is NOT an import, this is a high spec and genuine main dealer supplied 350Z Roadster in a great colour and in good condition. Sadly, the previous owner used the car for work and sat on the motorway.......a lot ! So the car has 150,700 miles on it. We all know this is nothing nowadays, especially for a car with full history but it does affect the value. When I got the car, the synchros in 5th and 6th gear were worn, not a surprise given it has been a motorway cruiser. I have had a gearbox fitted to the car from another same age car albeit with just 40k on the clock. The engine has 35psi oil pressure at idle and 80-85psi at 2000rpms, no smoke or noises etc. Drives as it should and goes pretty well for a naturally exasperated car Apart from the miles, is there anything else wrong with the car ? Could do with a new drivers mat and gear knob, that's it ! So with the high mileage, it's up for just £8,000ono Dont think this is bad considering there are damaged\recorded 350's on eBay for £5-6k !!! 20. We will definitely keep going mate, made too much progress to just give up
  21. Hi guys. Sadly it's not good news, our luck continues with this car All was looking good, race fuel in and made a start on NOS mapping but well into a power run and the turbo has had an issue, I'm sure Dude will update fully later Annoying really, had got to 1160hp at the hubs and was still climbing, but I heard a noise thru the det cans and pulled out of the run. Thanks for all your well wishes, the car has been a lot of work and all work has been done here. We finally thought the horsepower gods were going to smile on us ! But not yet. But they will
  22. Yeah have to agree with Dude, we were starting to think the car was cursed ! Don't fancy doing much more with pump fuel tbh, was certainly an interesting mapping session I'd like to thank Ryan G too, AFR are now approved Syvecs dealers, and I'm loving the Syvecs. But I have certainly appreciated Ryans assistance with familiarising me with the Syvecs. Thanks matey Fingers crossed the car holds together tomorrow, and looking forward to some proper drag times )
