  1. I thought the same and said so, and was promptly shot down in flames. Still what do we know:stupid: Quote from http://www.ukd1.com is; The final Clubman winner for this year was: Stephen Evans in a Toyota starlet
  2. Nice to meet you and say hello. Quite an interesting event, more like a Nissan 200 owners club meeting! Fair play to the clubman in a Starlet who pleased the crowd all day. Good to see one Supra doing it's stuff (even if it was a mk3). 4 Soops in the car park, Mad Ad, his mate, another black one with blacked out windows and mine. Good fun day will go again hopefully in the sunshine
  3. I think you may have a point. When he has spent time, money and effort doing those things, a little bit of tidying wouldn't go amiss. Not slagging the owner off, but maybe he just doesn't see those things as he is used to the car and as he says it is his pride and joy. As they say "one mans muck is another mans brass".
  4. Try Totally Custom near you at Cambridge. mmmmm shiny things, my precious. Here
  5. Supra fitment - it's a black diamond mesh version. [/b] You have pm:)
  6. Not sure that putting one in is the easiest and cheapest solution:blink:
  7. Cheers for that picture:thumbs: 'Cock stuffs head in welcoming hole' headline methinks:p
  8. Probably a dumb question, but hey:blink: Look at piccie, is anything missing from the bumper intake? If so what and what could I put there, without having to remove the bumper? Most other photo's don't show this hole clearly or if they do it an aftermarket nose.
  9. I wonder if her name is Sue:conf: See plate.
  10. I have been talking with Mawby about the idea of a full convoy to this. To make our presence felt I am willing to contact a local superstore to arrange for us to meet there and travel together for about 5 miles to POD. I have spoken with the raceway and they will not let us through so we will have to queue like all other cars, but 50 Supra's at once would be impressive, don't ya think. If this is of interest let me know and I will look into it further.
  11. As I said Toytown, car did seem ok. Said I couldn't drive it because he didn't have relevant test paperwork. I found his manner very off as though he didn't want to sell the car. Plus he slagged off the car I had (Seat Leon Cupra) because he didn't know what it was and made a very insulting px offer. I too run my own business and as Jay said if you are not treated how you would treat a customer then don't give them your business. Hope you get it all sorted out.
  12. Is this it? http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/cars_search.asp?modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=TOYOTA&model=SUPRA&variant=white&keywords=sz&min_pr=75&max_pr=&mileage=&agerange=&postcode=nn14+4js&miles=30&max_records=50&source=0&sort=3&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH
  13. I went to look at that car about 3 months ago. He told me it was off to Southampton that week for the test and if I wanted to test drive it to go back next week. I never did because I just had a bad feeling about him. If you have signed up for finance you still have an amount of time to back out of the agreement and surely you won't have signed until you receive the goods. If you have nothing to lose, walk away. There are plenty of better Supra's about (that aren't white;) ) I hope this works out for you, as you say it is a nice car and I would think you got a good price as it had been there for so long. Is the red MR2 with gold wheels still there?
  14. Are you buying this from Alconbury?
  15. Should bring the xenophobes out:sly:
  16. Advice needed. Please. Will this BOV fit a 93 j-spec auto tt? This is as it comes, no fitting kit so what would I need to fit it? It was off a MR2. If this is a silly question sorry for my ignorance:stupid:

    Lasered?

That won't stand up, their reply will be if you can't see Police in dayglo vests how can you see children? They will say you should have pulled over until it was safe to procede. Could get a driving without due care and attention slapped at you.
  18. Hey hold on. Nobody will be having me as a hors d'ouevre!!!!
  19. That was the same answer they gave me. They then add if it says so beside the list of cars.
  20. This is taken from the EGG site. All Drivers are at least 17 years of age, hold a valid driving licence and are permanently resident in the U.K. The total number of fault accidents or claims, including theft claims for all drivers does not exceed 3 in the last 3 years. The total number of convictions, fixed penalties or disqualifications for each driver does not exceed 2 in the last 5 years. No driver has any illnesses or disabilities that affects their driving. The vehicle is owned and registered by yourself, at your address and has not been modified or altered in any way (including wheels, suspension, bodywork and engine). You can use the vehicle in connection with your business. If your spouse/partner is named to drive, they can also use the vehicle in connection with their business. Use in connection with the Motor Trade is excluded. Your business or the business of your employer is not in anyway connected with any of the following: the entertainment and fashion industry, professional sports, foreign service or diplomatic personnel, scrap or salvage merchants, general dealers or market traders, mini-cab drivers or controllers. The vehicle must be a U.K. model or built to U.K. specifications (unless the vehicle description selected specifically states 'Import'). The vehicle is owned and registered by yourself, at your address and has not been modified or altered in any way (including wheels, suspension, bodywork and engine). The vehicle must be a U.K. model or built to U.K. specifications (unless the vehicle description selected specifically states 'Import'). The last one is interesting as none of the Supra's listed say import. I just got a quote and it was still cheap.
  21. On the website if it doesn't say import next to the listed car then they won't insure it. That is the line from EGG as I have just phoned and queried why they cancelled my policy. Looking on their site again soon for more info.
  22. Was that a web quote? I had the same took it out but when it came through it was for a UK car. Rang to query and the said, and I repeat 'we don't insure imports'.
  23. I tried to insure an RZ they were the cheapest by along way. They don't know what they are doing. That list is a generic car list from elsewhere, they may list them but won't insure them. If someone gets insurance for an import let me know as I will have them over the coals as I was driving for 2 weeks uninsured!!!!!.
