Ben, I have only just read this thread. I was saddened to hear about your loss. You must be feeling like you have had your world pulled away and now is the time to grieve for your loss. Your daughter will be very upset I'm sure, but children are very resolute and able to see black and white and she will bounce back quicker than you think. She will also be important to you because as she grows you will always have your wife with you and everytime you look at Jessica and see her smile you will have the wonderful memory of what you and your wife brought into the world and shared together. My thoughts and all those of the forum are with you - as you can see from the number of posts. Take care.

Ok then. I've just conducted an afternoon test without the spoiler. At normal town speeds no difference. Foot down straight line acceleration, there is a small improvement, car seems to pick up a bit better but this could be because of the cold air today. High speeds seems about the same but if it hits a bump or imperfection in the road then the back-end does seem looser. High speed cornering had no effect. Twisty country roads had the most effect, back-end seemed to step out a bit more but that also added to the fun. Rear-view visibility is massively improved (assists with parking no end). The looks of the car are certainly different, it no longer looks like a Supra but has an idenity sort of on its own but wanting to be something it isn't (Jaguar/Aston). The time taken to remove and re-install the spoiler is less than 20 minutes so it's well worth trying. My conclusion......... The spoiler is staying. I think;)

Does it? Reading a couple of threads recently it seems there is a difference of opinion. Ok at up to 70 it won't make much difference but what about high speeds (on private land obviously)? Views from drivers who have removed it would be great.
