  1. Is there any differece between the two manifolds. Would i gain anything if i changed to a UK spec. Is it a straight swop? Cheers
  2. I bought some from Toyota last month. They cost me £28. Thats for top and bottom rubbers. Took 2 days to arrive.

    I am thinking of lowering my Supe. I will have 19inch Kahns on when they arrive. Can anybody see a problem if it was lowered by 20mm on the front and 10mm on the rear. I dont want no rubbing if possible.
  6. So am i right in saying then that if i had a full decat, upgraded fuel pump, upgraded spark plugs, FMIC i could just use a boost controller to keep the boost at 1.2 bar. Or would i need a restrictor ring. All this fitted to a Jap TT:p

    The car is a Jap Spec. Am still new to these cars any advice would help.

    I am shortly getting a new exhaust system made with a decat pipe. Other than fitting a new Walbro fuel pump. Is there anything else that antone would advise doing? Would i need a restrictor ring or would the boost controller do the same job? Sorry if its a dumb question!!

  11. You need to take that section of the dash out. I think it just clips in when you have removed the top piece. The clock then has 2 or 3 screws holding it to the dash piece.
  12. I noticed today when reversing up a steep drive the gearbox makes a rattling sound. Is this normal or am i in trouble.

  15. Am trying to to fit a new dump valve but have no idea where to start. I understand that there is a factory fitted bov somewhere. Can i just do a straight swop. If so where is it located. If not where do i start. Dont get to technical as am ve y New to these engines.
  16. My mate is an auto-electrician, he has just fitted my Cat1 Alarm and turbo timer. I can walk away from the car set the alarm and the car stays locked. When the timer cuts off the car is immobilised. The only thing is that i have to release the handbrake to start it again just so the alarm will disable the immobiliser:) So it can be done just takes some messing around.

  19. Have bought a Blitz Turbo timer. All fitted no problem apart from the pipe for the boost gauge reading. It says to fit it by the inlet plennum, and pipe from turbo??? Any help would be appreciated am new to these things. Pictures would be great!
  20. When you turn on the standard factory fit radio/cd you get a click in the dash which is obviously an amp, but where is it located as i am trying to remove it to fit a decent stereo. Please help?
