    Air horns

    just wondering if you if you keeping the original horn and fitting 2-tone on a separate switch ? as it will fail the mot if u have a 2-tone horn go off when the horn is used:conf:

  3. dont want to scare you too much mate, but charging the battery indoors is not a good idea as it releases flammable gases while charging:eek:

    Oil leaks

    hi mate the oil seals can be bought separate and there is no need for recondtioning the gearbox or diff. i'm sure you will be able to buy these seals from main dealers . but there is a company called BLS which i normally use to obtain my seals and bearings but they normally need old seals as a pattern to match them .

    Air horns

    its adviseable to use a seprate feed for the horns through its own relay as the horn pump takes up alot of current. if you use the feed from one of your fuses directly to the horns it will over load the circuit and blow the fuse or melt your wires .

  7. mine is wired into the immbolizer only come on when alarm is de-activated
  8. supra dont have self adjusters as the clutch system is hydraulic and not cable which you can adjust:innocent:
  9. if its only doing it in a certain place then it sounds like the return spring on ur pedal? try spraying some wd40 on it or check to see if its not broken:innocent:
  10. might be wrong but if fitted with oxygen sensor then could effect performance as will give wrong info to ecu due to blowing exhaust allows air entering and giving high lamda readings:innocent:

    Damp Supra

    i had the same problem in my car went on for months untill one day when i was driving the inside of the whole car was in smoke and the car came to a stop. it turned out were someone had modifyed the fuel pump feed from 9volt to 12volts the wires had been rubbing inside of the inner quarter panel and melted the fuel wiring loom. :flame Dev
  12. yes you should replace bearing as well but should come with the clutch kit.
  13. bit suprised about this clonking noise as there is no noise at all on mine? i cant see have a clonk on the transmission as being normal.
  14. have you had your propshaft uj's checked for wear or loose bolts? normally clonks when you first take up drive.
  15. hi there about your rear foglight its a must for mot test but only the drivers side. if your vehicle is lowered, then there is no reason why it has to be put in a brake tester roller the mot tester can use a device called a taply meter which is placed on the passenger footwell and the car is driven to 20mph and the brakes are applied to obtain a brake reading . all mot stations have a brake meter.

  18. ITS A AIR/FUEL CONTROLLER BUT HAS ANOTHER UNIT ATTACHED TO IT ON THE OPTION 2 CONNECTION AND HAS E-MANAGE FUEL AIDER STAMP ON IT. BOTH UNITS ARE APEXI .PS WANT DO YOU MEAN BY TURNING CAPS OFF ?
  19. THE CAR WAS MAPPED WHEN IT WAS RUNNING ON SANDARD BOOST AND FUEL PUMP,NOT SURE HOW THE APEXI E-MANAGE WORKS AS ITS THE FIRST GENERATION ONE DON'T HAVE ANY DATA. WAS IN THE VEHICLE WHEN I BOUGHT IT. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF THERE WAS A COMMON PRESSURE THAT WAS USED AS A STARTING POINT ?
  20. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE BEST FUEL PRESSURE TO RUN ON TRACKDAYS, I HAVE A 6 SPEED TWINTURBO FITTED WITH TWO STOCK FUEL PUMPS ,STANDARD J-SPEC INJECTORS,E-MANAGE,PRESSURE REGULATOR,RUNNING AT1.2BAR BOOST.

    Race Fuel

    hi alex i ran my car with 97 octane+3 point octane booster on a rwyb and my fastest time was 13.01sec 1/4. so went back following day using cool blue 116 octane, and she did not respond as good. best time for me on that day was 13.5sec 1/4. hpoe that helps?
  23. THANKS FOR THE PICS I;LL TRY IT ON MINE AS SEE WANT HAPPENS .I DID'T BLOCK OFF ANY PIPEWORK AS ITS JUST RE-ROUTED FROM EXISTING ACTIVATOR SOLENOID TO THE NEW ONE.
