hi it comes of just by pulling it , might need a little help with a flat screwdriver. when thats off you can undo the nut and remove the switch complete.

i think you might be ok with removing the silencer, i had a 4" pipe from the first cat all the way to the back and it sounded great. i removed my blitz nu-spec exhaust to try this and decided to keep the pipe on there.

you can pick them from main dealers but they normally order them in for the next day. were cheap in price, if i can remember.

its very hard to find a supra with rear end damage in uk. all the ones i've ever come across in the past two years were front end damage and believe me i've been searching. but you never know. and when supras come into salvage auction sites for spares you need a breakers licence to bid for them. so you might be better importing from japan if you know someone whos knows someone.

hi mate if u towing the car its advisable to unbolt and remove propshaft then u can tow it as far as u like without winding the oil pressure up in your gearbox which can cause it to fail. or if u have a suspended tow system then lift the rear of the car to tow (if your bumper allows that)

not sure might be well out, but i was running those tyre sizes at 26psi on my car. or was i just under inflated? -

i had some 17" rs kahn alloys on mine when i upgraded the front calipers the wheels did not fit back on as they were fouling the bigger calipers:(

i think we getting a bit confused here, there is a differance between 2-tone horn and 2 horns with same tone? 2-tone is normally related to two different sounds like want the police/fire and ambulance make which is only legal on emergency vehicles. you can fit 2 or even 20 as long as the tone of the horns sound the same. and is continious. then there is no problem.

emissions were always confusing:conf: i don't think even the VI know what they doing next. i use to do mots full time and it was easier keeping up with new regulations. it just seems that as soon as u turn your back they go and change something else on the mot test.

just out of interest want will u non turbo boys pay for a complete twinturbo engine with wiring loom,ecu,auto gearbox and rear diff. for a conversion.

i dont think thats a good idea. believe me:eek: i was stopped by the old bill . after me giving some abuse they decided to carry out a full examination of my car and much to my suprise i had no engine number so they took my car away, and i got it back after 2 weeks. and a day in the cells after being acused engine number tampering:sex:
