  1. you can remove the crankshaft sensor a poke your little finger in there to see if you can feel anything loose:D
  2. yes you need to wire in the injector adaptor module on the supras.
  3. The piping will not prevent the engine from starting EDIT the skyline engine has a airflow meter so you will be correct in that case:) but the supra has a map sensor unless its a uk spec.
  4. Error code 12 and no signal to the rpm needle, you need to have another look at the crankshaft sensor it MIGHT not be the sensor itself but the pickup signal ring gear as i have mentioned before.
  5. Might be a sticking actuator valve or possible leaking wastegate, Just my 2pence worth.

    Nippon (STAY AWAY)

If i have read this right, you bought a secondhand gearbox from nippon which lasted 3 years - cannot fault them for that if it was me. Oil they used was not typeIV ? how do you know this as the atf oils are the same colour ? did you have it tested. i've never used nippon but agian seems a bit unfair
  7. With a good battery you should be getting approx 1-2 volts AC cranking 0.3 seems a bit low to me. if the crank signal is being recieved by the ecu then while you are cranking you should see the rev counter needle moving (bouncing) very slighty. Did you check for a spark at the plugs when the coilpacks were changed
  8. There are two cam sensors fitted under the intake manifold but if one has gone faulty then the engine will still start. The crankshaft sensor is located at the crankshaft pully end. under the alternator there is a connection plug for the crank sensor is that the one you have checked? if so how did you check this
  9. Engine speed signal comes from the crankshaft sensor you need to check that with a multimeter
  10. Sounds like crankshaft sensor Or the star-ring which is pressed on the crankshaft gear which is for crank sensor signal
  11. The oil will be leaking from the sensor itself were the metal part crimps onto the plastic bit. just replace with new job done.
  12. Have you checked for Vaccum leaks especially around the fuel pressure regulator.
