  1. hey dude few quick questions are the screws removed once the panels are bonded ? wants this filler called thats used first, as i will be starting my wide kit fitment soon. i've been told to use tiger seal to bond on the kit and then to have the screws removed
  2. sorry mate but i bought that one on saturday
  3. yeah defo flat battery mate, the ticking noise is the starter trying to engage but not enough current to do so
  4. did you take any before and after pics
  5. the stereo unit is also fed by the lighting circuit for illumunation. it could be possible that you have blown a fuse while doing your connections. which will result in those systems. not sure which fuse it is though.
  6. HEY great to see that you having fun in it . i guess that you have transformed the car into a monster then? ps welcome to the forum
  7. when i done mine i removed both the coolant rad and aircon one. to allow me to get a huge airgun designed for lorrys in there. come of like it was finger tight
  8. absz

    Gear

might be the wrong type of oil in gearbox
  9. that cylinder is part of your aircon system
  10. i'm at work till 6 today give me a ring and i'll have a look
  11. thats a good idea mate thanks for sharing i'll just have to put my plasma cutter to use and make one
  12. yeah i sold that car mate for a new project
  13. i had this on my car. defo made the exhaust sound loud which was a good thing . was slightly slower of the mark but made up the speed in no time, noticed it knocked of about 0.2 sec on my track times
  14. basically its a waveform taken of the coil while the engine is running. depending on the pattern it gives i.e too much ringing on end of wave line gives advance warning of coil failure. + burn times etc etc
  15. no probs if you have no luck just remember i have a spare set . could supply you with a scope reading print out on the coil patterns for each coil.
  16. to be honest i go for the cheapest option first which is to have all four wheels balanced again. the noise you heard could have been a balance weight coming of the wheel and hitting the underside.
  17. not sure which ones your after but i have a set from a 1994 twinturbo supra for £150
  18. i'm glad you mentioned bmw's . have you had any problems with them? as when the engine is cold it over fuels damaging the rings+bores i have had first hand experance in this with a 1998 bmw which had 54000miles on it.and the engine was replaced by bmw free of charge as this fault on the engine is know to them.
  19. i guess with the quality of engine oil this day and age theres no real reason to allow the engine to warm up before driving . but then again if you have the time then why not
  20. i normally buy secondhand tyres for my car but only if i'm allowed to inspect the tyre before fitment. you really need to check the inner walls of the tyre from the inside to make sure it has not been driven flat and damaged the wall as many secondhand tyres with good tread are replaced for that reason.
  21. there is also a long cast mounting bracket which holds the stick and is bolted to the gearbox assy on rubber mounted bushes.
  22. the system runs on a pressure switch so even if it has gas, it still might need topping up.
