  1. i'm sure a big hammer will put it right
  2. just have a look at the new one to see if it is screwed in or forced on.
  3. you don't have to take the link off, but you will require a long lever to push the lower wishbone down to clear the shock, the link rod is attached to the lower wishbone it just helps pushing the wishbone further down if its removed.
  4. you also need to remove both headlights and theres two more nuts either side
  5. is that something in your pocket, or are you just hung like a horse
  6. i guess your plate is more powerful than mine then
  7. have you reconnected the wire that goes to the steering rack from the new wiring loom of your tt engine.
  8. the cup holders should get the chance to defend the title
  9. i must admit do like the rear arches and sideskirts
  10. basically you can check the dwell time/burn time/firing line. the first part of the wave pattern is your duty time and firing voltage and second part is the burn time i.e burn time too long then theres a short to ground(lead) burntime too high (resistance fault) burn line too low(plug shorting) burntime too high (ignition, plug gap). hope that makes sense. even i'm confused now
  11. nope it was fine. just had to touch up the cut edges with paint.
  12. i have done this before on a standard bonnet. measured and marked out the bits that need cutting, masked bonnet around area to avoid damage and using a hole cutter drilled out the corner bits first to give a nice curve line. then cut out the rest using a air saw. all the inner strengthen panel was left intacted.
  13. problem with coils is that it might show good resistance, but when engine running and on load the coil might start breaking up. best way to check them is using a scope and reading the waveform of the coil when its on load. which shows exactly how the coil is behaving at certain rpm.
  14. sorry ian forgot all about it . was going to fit the coil packs to my car and use a scope to check wave forms and condition. but sold the car last week. got the head off on my other supra at the mo, waiting for dude to supply me another head. and thens its possible for me to do. i have a spare set of coilpacks that you can borrow if you like. to check your car.
  15. how about the idler on the belt tensioner

i've fitted some to my supe . you do need to reshape the A- post slighty for the new hinges to fit. (big hammer) i did not have to roll the wings as i have fitted some top secret wide fenders . but if you leave the orignal wings then they will have to be cut. the difficult bit is removing headlights/front bumper and then both front wings, just to get the new hinges in there correct location. thats were the labour cost will rise if you get a bodyshop to do it.

if you don,t buy it let me know, seems an easy project
  20. i guess its possible, but you have to run it so lean that it wont be driveable
