  1. i went on the diagnostic course which frank massey teaches. (the guy who does all the fault finding for that magazine. but the down side is that he charges £800 for a five day course.
  2. i think we need a picture of it. (if thats ok with greg) but it deffo has APEXI F-MANAGE stamped on the unit, and APEXI FUEL AIDER on the other unit which is pluged into it on option 2.
  3. i did try and get information on the f manage but with no luck . it does alter timing when you play around with the two setting adjusters . also theres no info for the option 2 fuel aider. hence the reason i never played around with it after the bpu mods.
  4. he does mean apexi f manage trust me

    Celica GT4

i think that the gt4 st205 is a great car but the only downside is that the suspension parts are very expensive so make sure that the front bushes have been changed if you thinking of buying one, also the front lower wishbones. as these parts are very common to wear.
  6. managed to remove glass after spending a good two hours at it the rubber seems to be bonded on the glass itself, so i don't think its possible to remove the external rubber away from the glass.
  7. i've been working on fitting a widebody kit to my supe. and in the process of blending the extended quarter panels into the orignals. hence the reason for removing the glass. i have removed the inner panels and the three nuts. been using a blade to cut away at the sealant. but it just does't want to move
  8. i'm trying to remove the rear quarter glass on my supe without breaking it. . has anyone got any tips for this. ps: wants the price for a new glass so i know how careful i need to be

    I.Q. Test

just done the test. pressed score button and came up with message, page cannot be displayed truly pi**ed off.
  10. the main problem with engine flush is that when you drain the oil out there is always some oil still left in the engine (i.e oil gallerys) and engine flush does not have the same lubrication qualitys as engine oil. so you run the risk of internal damage due to the flushing oil still in system. best way is to flush the system using same grade oil. but can get bit expensive.
  11. i have a set of coil packs which you can borrow as long as you pay for postage.
  12. don't think the pluming of boost control will cause misfire. most probs plug related.

    Plan B

i sold a shell for £350 about 6 mths ago that was just the shell with rear tailgate. . but i'm sure it will be much easier repairing the damaged than doing a bodyshell swap.
  14. nice car. its even better up close
  15. not to clued up on puntos but seems the fuel might be draining back. follow the fuel pipe from bulkhead to carb with engine running, and give the pipes a gentle pull/twist checking for slight leak.
  16. no tricks i normally do it the long way, but its much easier. all you need is a 2 poster hoist. a workshop heavy duty compressor,1"1/4 drive commercial air gun, and a aircon re-gas system as i remove both coolant and aircon rads to allow for work space for the huge air gun i use. and not forgetting the pulley removal set. its just to easy my way
  17. kzn130 is for a toyota hilux
  18. just incase you do have to get hold of a chassis plate. theres a company called tags direct which will make you one. all you need is log book and £55. . toyotas will not help you in replacement vin tags.
  19. had same probs with vehicles before, normally its due to bulb quality but a bad connection will also cause the bulb to blown. due to voltage trying to pass through a bad connection will result to increase of current flow.

    hey its 629 now
  21. its most likely one of the induction hoses that run from the intercooler to throttle body. have a look from the top between the fan and rad to see if one has come off, might be hard to notice as they just pull away slightly. same thing has happened to me on two different supras now at speeds.
