  3. well i think i have found the colour, just need get a sample. was going to paint the car black but everyone at the bodyshop and all my work mates are saying that black will kill the curves of the car so playing with gold now.

  7. one way to drain the tank is remove the fuel relay, bridge the two main feeds so the pump runs constant when ignition is switched on undo the fuel pipe from the fuel return in the boot, attach a longer hose onto the return pipe and pump all the fuel out into a container.
  8. the tank will have to be drained. also you might need a new set of spark plugs.
  9. cruise,Abs,steering, aerial, traction control, front spoiler and the standard toyota alarm system are all fused on the same fuse F13, so if it keeps blowing that fuse then its a possibilty that it could be alarm related, as the horn and indicators are also fed via the alarm circuit.
  10. the yellow connecter is for airbags, connected with that should be a black connecter block with lots of wires the indicator ones are as follows. green with yellow tracer green with white tracer green with black tracer
  11. if you remove the lower steering column cover you should see the connecter for the stalk, its complete with wiper and light wires.
  12. check the charging rate of the battery when engine is running, jumps starts if not done correctly can cause a power surge. might be your alternator over charging.
  13. is it just fronts not working or rears as well? might sound stupid but if its just the fronts then it just could be your small capless bulbs.
  14. its for your aircon system , high pressure side
  15. hope your kit turns out fine. when i bought topsecret kit from ebay it was no way like the one in the pics and had to beef up the whole kit with 2/3 layers of fibreglass on each panel . and for the front replacment wings even after beefing them up i was not happy, so i cut and shaped the original wings and bonded them inside the replacment wings and its all now rock solid i fitted the kit myself and done the first stage of prep work. as long as you can do all your prep work it should not cost too much to have it finished.
  16. as far as i'm aware---the shims are there for anti-squeel reasons only so then is no reason to apply copper grease ( as grease attracts more dirt and grit to stick onto pads) so yes you can remove shims and use copper grease between contact surfaces of pistons to pads. and please note that is my understanding anyway. please don't sue me if i'm wrong
  17. well my wheels are sitting 2" inside the arch i guess the bigger the better
