  1. on a similar question were does the idle control intake hose go to after the conversion
  2. you can try- 3m automotive acrylic plus tape. its normally used to fit door mouldings on very strong but also expensive . will not damage paintwork but you will need to degrease the panel and spats for a long lasting job, also with any adhesive tapes you need a bonding temperature of a least 16 degree c i normally use a hair dryer to warm panels up before any fitment.
  3. no its not my job. i just think its a very big task to spray a car without having any experence . first of all anyone can pick up a spray gun and spray its all in the prep work were it matters. its all ok to just say yeah yeah have ago but without the right knowledge/experence it will not look right and then it could cost double to have it put right again. just looking at the whole picture mate:blahblah:
  4. can you also do before and after pics of your car:rlol:
  5. might sound stupid but could it be a blockage in the exhaust system ? from when it was dismantled.
  6. its called SMC filler (upol) designed for blending metal to plastic.
  7. i used tigerseal (upol) excellant for bonding kits onto bodywork.
  8. thankyou MR C will give it a go. ps noticed that the traction butterfly is also staying shut for some reason?
  9. need some wiring diagrams or info for the above circuit. have a constant misfire on my engine checked all coilpacks+injectors and compression all good. carried a fault code test, code 14 is logged (IGF igniter circuit)
  10. right here goes having problems trying to start engine. checked all alarm circuits which all seem ok checked spark at plugs all ok checked fuel pressure at fuel rail all ok renewed spark plugs and drained fuel tank refilled with fresh petrol the engine turns over and it seems as if its trying to fire. now, the car is fitted with a hks AIC (Additional Injector Controller) but there is no additonal injectors on engine:shrug: not sure if its related. the engine does run as long as you spray a constant jet of easy start in the induction manifold so it seems like fuel problems.
  11. hey hey thanks for all the info guys i'll give it a go in the morning:thumbs:
  12. nope i have nothing apart from a 4 digit code that was given to me when i bought the car. it has to small buttons on the column that i think are used to punch in the code:help:
  13. i have a clifford concept 600 alarm on my car, the car has been off the road for well over 3/4 years now:cry: just managed to finally put it all back together but i have lost the alarm fob, so i need to no how to manually enter the four digit code to disarm system. ps don't know if its related to the alarm system but when the battery is first connected and the ignition is switched on the ignition lights stay on even when the key is removed:shrug:
  14. your cambelt is too tight. if you don't press the tensioner in and just bolt it back on. it will be at its maxium tension it will result in belt failure
  15. i'm looking for a quater panel glass for the offside, have one on order from mr t but been told that its on back order for another 3 weeks need one asap.:thumbdown
  16. just a word of caution. i bought some wide spacers for my car. but noticed that the fitment was not quite right as when the spacers were bolted on to the hub there was a gap between the hub and spacer, which is only noticable when checking using a feeler gauge. so had the centre bore re-machined on all 4 spacers. also the nyloc nuts supplied with the spacers did't seem like good quality.
  17. good luck, will try and come on the day:cool:
  18. its normally the handbrake cables that fray which results in holding the brake on.
  19. i was reading up on spigot bearings a while ago if i'm correct then worn spigot bearing will cause a noise only when its in gear and not in neutral. thats my understanding anyway:shrug:
  20. selling used 256 inlet hks cam in good condition with no wear marks, open to offers. bought this from mad k but no longer require the inlet cam
  21. supradibbs and jake you both have pm:thanku:
  22. i'm urgently in need of following parts if anyone can help. turbo pressure sensor crankshaft pulley camshaft inner timing cover (metal)
  23. as you got leather init or is it like cloth seats
  24. i do have a set of 18x10 and 18x13 rears but its the wrong offset, the wheels still sit too far in. fitting spacers as temp measure for a few months till i get the right wheels.
