    idle problem

just adding to the puzzle:) had similar problems with engine reving at 2k constant turned out to be a faulty coolant sensor
  2. sorry imi but its been sold to me:ecstatic:
  3. yea but not the supra:tomato:
  4. you need to have someone in the drivers seat, get them to hold the ignition on the start position while you tap the stater motor with a light hammer might do the trick if its a sticky solenoid.
  5. i've been waiting for over a month for some injectors, that i had to buy from elsewere as my car was off the road. but he will not refund me my money back. and has not yet given me the injectors either.
  6. i had the same problem when fitting mine few years back:rtfm: but got my local hose company to make up a fitting for me. must say had no problems with the FSE
  7. the same thing happened to me. i just crimped two connecters onto the wires and plug them into the sensor. as you said without the coolant sensor (ecu) the car will not run.
  8. it must be your charms:limp: all i ever get from him is 20% on stock order and 10% next day.
  9. cylinder head j -spec in good condition been checked and pressure tested looking for £200+p( comes without exhaust caps and shims) all valves included. uk spec turbos complete with manifold ready to bolt on covered approx 40,000 miles bought from dude but did't use them in the end. looking for £250+p
  10. in see what i can do. but i think the bonnet will not shut if its mounted on the suspension turret?
  11. slight movement is quiet normally on all cars. if its moving alot its more likely to have a cracked/split bulkhead or loose bolts on the servo mounting point.
  12. if you can hang on for a few weeks i'll take mine off for you as i longer require the tank. or tell me were you want to locate the tank and i'll make you a bracket to suit.
  13. i thought that trade insurance only covers you third party ? so if the car gets stolen your on your own.
  14. have you got those wheels and are they for sale:drool:
  15. the nearside is banana shaped. it seems it was wrapped around a lamp post before hand. hence the reason to squash it.
  16. i had the same problem with a VW. you need to check the battery voltage when the engine is running to make sure its not over charging 13/14volts is quite normal. the problem i had was that the voltage regulator in the alternator blew and it stored over six faults ranging from lamda sensors to airflow meter. had to replace the alternator/airflow meter and faulty lamda sensor on this car. due to incorrect jumpstart by the owner.
  17. i think i was quoted £200 per ltr of paint my car used 5 ltrs of it . and top secret will not release the colour code. just waaaay to expensive.
  18. hey no probs. just let me know when:thanku:
  19. as i said still needs a lot of work, will be getting some deep dished alloys in the near furture. and the section around the rear bumper will be done to match the curves. i do regret doing the lambo doors as its restricted opening of the door due to the wider front wings. i feel that it looks to plan might go for the shopping list logos on panels and a rear GT wing.
  20. finally got the car back from bodyshop. thought i'll share a few pics of the car. still got some work to do in the interior department and engine bay.
