  2. i used turbofit for my custom ic pipes. was very pleased with the out come.
  3. theres a fuse in fascia 1 F2 (7.5 amps) but that controls all of AC system i.e relays and control switches. then you have a AC clutch relay which is located on plate no1 relay no KI43. i'm not sure exactly of its location but the pics i have show it on the nearside bulkhead i think its on the inside by the heater blower motor.
  4. i you sure its on 1.2 bar ? as when we checked your timing i noticed the pressure was approx 36 psi
  5. celica gt had no probs with. only fitted clutch in two years of owner ship. bruvs got a gt4 very quick car great to drive, but do suffer from fig8 joints also had to replace front wishbones and rear hub bushes. very expensive parts so just make sure the suspension is in order. also they suffer from radiator plastics letting by coolant due to excessive heat in engine bay, and the plastics turn a brownie colour and become brittle.
  6. who works in the bodyshop then ?
  7. tvr's suffer from quite a few common faults which can be very expensive to put right. do a search on common faults on the net. if your thinking of buying one.

  15. i guess the money is no longer talking:D
  16. mine did't make anything at thors as there hub dyno did't clear my widebody:(
  17. goods news:) RUSH i take it you got it sorted then as you seemed a bit slow on the dragonball event. lui your car is very quick i still remember when you smoked me at the lights;)
  18. my car sat in the garage for a few years. firstly i changed engine oil and coolant on the motor, removed plugs disconnected the crank sensor to stop it firing up. poured small amount of oil into bores (incase of a sticking piston ring) cranked engine over until oil pressure light went out, then refitted plugs&sensor. the trouble with mine was as it sat for such a long period the fuel injectors were all sticking causing over fuelling. and it will not fire up on all six. had to replace injectors:(
  19. right, checked supROs car using the same digital timing gun i have and its showing 22degrees on his car as well ? so either i have a dodgy gun or the pick up wire ( green wire on igniter pack ) is not a good reference point for No1 cylinder. CW after market ecu might be a possibilty in the furture when i can afford one:taped:
  20. manage to get the lenes out:) 160f preheated oven for 6mins came off very easily.
  21. i need to take the glass lens of my uk headlights for some refurb work. whats the best way of removing the sealant . i've done this before on some j-spec lights by placing the unit in the oven to soften the sealant up a bit. but not to sure how glass will react to heat:rolleyes:
  22. checked timing on the car today and its at 22 degrees vs 10 which it should be? thats with e1/te1 connected together in serial port. idles seems fine 650/680 rpm the engine seems a bit flat in lower rev range. any ideas whats pulling the timing. STOCK ecu unit fitted with apexi f-manage to control 650cc injectors. hks 264/256 cams running t60-1 turbo
  23. normally with warped disc's you can feel vibrations through the brake pedal, check to make sure the pads and calipers are secure as i tke it this only started after new pads were fitted.
