I use a welding wire attached to one of the plugs and gently feed it in. also helps if you remove the heater resistor module

I'm running twin 80watt fans on mine supra with aftermarket gauges x5 including sound sytem stock alternator with no issues, maybe you have a weak battery?

Right need to know how the brake efficiency is calculated on a class 7 ie are all tests calculated at DGW which is 3500kg or is the brake weight chart used which for the van is 1820kg had a van fail today for poor service brake at 35% efficiency had it checked on our brake tester both front wheels locked and 1 rear locked on test using the 1820kg method the efficiency was 85%on our rollers it had new discs and pads including the rear load sensing valve 6 months ago all seems fine. the tester is saying all calculation for brake efficiency is done by total effort divide by GDWx100 but i cannot see how the van will pass unless i fully adjust the load sensing valve which is not good if driving unladen.

i know that the dipstick hole is blanked off and is electric, if the blocks are the same i can use my orignally sensors or even the cylinder head.

Right i have a bmw E90 318i petrol 2007 engine is a N46 20ltr engine I have snapped no1 conrod which made a exit via the block was wondering IF the E46 Series bmw engine with the same code of N46 is the same block or not?

Are these the ones that are also known as swirl flaps? as i thought this engine model did not have them.

I had a very similar noise on mine but it showed a vanos solenoid fault and engine light was staying on, i removed both solenoids exhaust and intake and cleaned them as they have a fine metal filter which gets blocked with carbon deposits.

Is Engine light coming on?. possible causes from top of my head is vanos solenoids or timing chain guide rail/tensioner

I always flush using the same oil grade engine oil as there is no way of knowing that all the flushing agent is removed from engine. That's my thoughts on the matter:)

If the hazards are also flashing then i would say its a alarm issues as the crank sensor wiring and hazards are on different circuits.The only thing that can link them is a alarm/immobilizer circuit. Edit Also on supras as long as there is a crank signal going to the ecu then you will see the Rev counter needle bouncing very slightly when cranking.

Properly Been left out,That bracket is normally removed to gain access to the exhaust manifold underside.

Might be for the power steering rack if its long enough, there is a sensor by the steering rack were the steering shaft bolts onto.

Remove the oil filter and cut it in half if you have metal particles in there then i would say bottom end rebuild time.
