  1. Do you know what part fails or does it not power up, Just Curious as I've had no issues over 5 years now
  2. I run a Aem v1 Ecu mapped at 600bhp running 880cc sard injectors and does the job with no issues, Supra engine management is old technology and your goal can be achieved using a ecu like G4/haltech etc . Syvecs gives you more control on transmission /traction control it has the ability to monitor oil/fuel pressures etc and also can change injector duty if fuel pressure drops so it controls the engine more safely, but you can achieve this my monitoring your gauges and right foot.newer cars with driveby wire and canbus then Syvecs is one of the best Ecu's to have Injector wise ANSU will be my choice which are bosch injectors rebranded they have less lag time which makes them easier to control and map, a good mapper will be able to map any ecu like ryanG did before becoming a director of syvecs
  3. yep The Vic test was only to check identity of the car but saying that I had a couple of cars tested over the years which had no vin tags as i had them removed when repairing damage and they still passed with no questions asked
  4. Just read the email again that I received from Dvla regarding a vic test i'm waiting upon and it states from 1st October 2015 the vic test scheme will be abolished and I can carry out a mot and then apply for a v5 they have also refunded me the Vic test fee:)
  5. Vehicle would of been Damaged beyond economical repair for it to be Cat C, You will not be able to remove the Vcar cat C status once its been recorded even if the insurance hasn't paid out for the car. What normally happens is that the insurance assessors will record the damage onto the Vcar registrar well before payment is settled. Also the Law has changed as of this month and you can take the car to a Mot Test station for the Vic test
  6. Add seems fine to me its a UK car and has mods, I have a Jspec with different suspension/single turbo/bigger brakes/bodykit etc etc does that mean I cannot advertise as a J-spec
  7. High Resistance will be a broken wire, need to know which component the code relates to ie Seatbelt ?
  8. You can buy the connectors separately to repair http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Spark-Plug-Caps-Plug-Bullet-Fitting-Screw-into-HT-lead-/360506147188?hash=item53efd74174
  9. Did you compress the Hydraulic Tensioner and inserted a pin into it before refitting? Pin is then pulled out to tension Belt
  10. If its stalling when clutch is pressed it might be worth checking the endfloat on crankshaft which can also make the timing belt move out of alignment if there is excessive play
  11. http://www.vwspeedshop.com/Engine%20Calculator.htm
  12. I fitted mine as per the first picture sideways and had no issues:)
  13. I'm also running a RPS max 6 puck clutch with the RPS flywheel. good clutch but pedal is heavy compared to stock.
  14. I'm sure its on the same loom that goes to the Alternator Plug should be a grey connector with two wires
  15. On the TT it has a connector along the drivers Chassis leg looking from the top
  16. Welcome back whoever you Are:)
  17. Good luck with the build looking forward for the updates:)
  18. If it was me I'll just reverse the polarity on the pump wires and see what it does to the fuel flow:)
  19. I'm not saying you are stupid,Just trying to help if its coming out the feed line from the pump then all you can do is follow the pipe from tank to engine bay and that should answer the question to Why its not getting to the rail.
  20. If it was running fine before then you have wired the polarity wrong on the new fuel pump.
  21. The fuel pressure regulator will be on the return line, the feed from the fuel pump should go to the fuel rail and return line should go to regulator so what you described seems ok.
  22. It passed but i had all new brakes/bushes before test:)
  23. My present supra had its MOT test the other day first one since 2006:D
