  1. As per title taken from a jdm 1995 supra open to highest bidder + postage
  2. sounds like one of the cam sensors OR wiring , does the engine start first time or after a couple of revolutions ? you can do a quick resistance test on the sensors to confirm. but i had the same fault with mine with a slight misfire until 2k revs and it a faulty cam sensor. if you have access to scope you can check all sensors from the ecu pins which inturn checks out the wiring aswell
  3. could be possible that the cambelt tensioner snapped taking out all other parts, do you know if the tensioner BOLT is still in place?
  4. they are called MAC valves part model 35A-AAA-DDBA-1BA i'm sure RyanG stocks them:)
  5. see if you can beat my time of just under 2 hours on your own:d
  6. plan and simple not a hard job really, i find it easier to use two long socket extensions to get to the top bell-housing bolts from underneath. don't forget to undo the pressure plate bolts via the side inspection covers as that comes off with the gearbox. working on the driveway floor should take you no more than 4 hours:)
  7. i'll start the bidding for this one at £400:)

  14. I had a similar problem with mine some time ago it was one of the coilpack wires just before the connector, the wiring insulation was fine but the wire itself was broken inside causing a misfire when on load due to bad contact. very hard to find had to use a scope and some live data recordings to find the fault.

    Strange problem :)

your alternator is NOT charging if the engine cuts out once the jump leads are removed, do you have a battery light on dash with ignition on ?
