  1. Not wanting to appear like kicking you when your down or rubbing any salt in any wounds but i'm after a set of Stock Supra 17" wheels, not really to bothered bout the condition as long as there not buckled or missing chunks. Just i think u said summink bout getting new rims outta this accident affair so if u'll take a couple hundred quid for em i'll be interested, but you'll probly want them for track wheels too i guess so only if you wanna.
  2. I've got a e-manage on my '96 J Spec TT, i was planning to get the E-01 for it to. Any of you guy's got any input on this peice of kit. I'm assuming the Display Info will be in English on this bit of kit not Japanese, all tho trying to decifer Injector duration and ignition data from a table/matrix is pretty much the same i guess! Would it be a good idea to get this Exel conversion software displaying graphs from the data? Oh yeah and apparently the E-01 has the the latest E-manage support tool stuff is this correct? Will i still need to get a seperate data lead to hook up to my PC and/or will E-01 store it as i doubt my bro will be too happy bout me using his shiney new lap top for car stuff! I was planning on getting a WBO2 and controller/display, so if i've got the E-01 will i not be able to log this data together? Would i have been able to do this with Stand Alone management anyway?
  3. Also apparantly if your stubborn enough with your insurer, which i must say you probly need BIG CAHOONERS for, you can insist on a perticular repairer, although this may only be a main dealer situation, but anyway Nemesis Performance up in Colchester ESSEX is meant to have a brand new state of the art Muts Nuts Body Shop and produce some shockingly beautiful looking Jap cars, i'm not a big fan of aftermaket body kits, but those guys really know how to fit kits. They've always got a 3page spread ad in Jap Performance mag too much info to list but @£25+vat an hr labour sounds reasonable to me, and oh its says Import Insurance Work Undertaken! That's an invite for u if ever i've seen1! http://www.nemesisperformance.com
  4. Funny guy, see if they've got 10 year old paint! Well what i do know of bodyshops is if there any good the aim is to get an undetectable finish, this may need you to be fussy bout your repair, i think theres some sort of law that is sposed to guarantee a repair for a certain period of time too, think it's 3years but that sounds pretty long to me, also should have to sign some form of paperwork to say you accept the level of repair so make sure you go over it with a fine toothcomb. You can pretty much be sure that every damaged panel should get painted and with aged paint they usually try a closer tailored match with colour swatches, then for a decent undetectable repair adjacent panels will have to be blended into, which i would have thought from your damage shouldnt leave too many panels. therefore you can always slip the bodyshop a few extra quid and get the whole lot done in that lovely 'Candy Apple' u always wanted if thats your cup of tea! My work colleague had a scrape down the side and damaged front bumper on his 3yr old Beemer, left it at the bodyshop 3times before accepting the colour match and signing the paperwork! After the second repaint he had the paint depth checked and so for the 3rd paint job they had to take it right back to metal to keep the original depth he wanted! Fussy or what!?
  5. No prob, i guess i'd have prefered 17's anyway, but their obviously gold dust! Question though, you've got quite a decent looking spec, u still running on NA/Smaller J Spec brakes?
  6. Wow, i didn't ask a silly question for a change..... and i thought GeordieSteve had a cunning plan to lure me off the scent of the 16's! Well thats good to know, i appreciate the offer mate and if my search for my own set of spare shoes is unsuccessful i may have to take you up on your offer but i've only started looking today. Who'd a thought there's still nice people out there in this day and age!
  7. I'm in North London so Herts is pretty local i guess, Hatfield? Harlow? Any buckled? Chunks missing? before i get too excited, not to bothered bout general scuffage.
  8. Have i missed out? i was actually after a set of stock 17"s, but those would do me fine winter shoes/dummy wheels whilst i get th 18" Split rims sent off for refurb. How much did you want for them and where would i have to go go to get them? Silly question but am i right in assuming they fit over the UK Spec Front 4-pot calipers? they seem a bit close to my 18's, probly wrong off-set or summik i guess. Anyway are they still on offer?
  9. Cheeky insurance ba***rds, stitched me up when i bought my Supra earlier this year, i must have checked with them a million times about the car specifications etc, put a deposit on the car, got back to the insurers to take out the policy and i got oh sorry we havent got your quote down as a Twin Turbo, it's down as a NA! Pooped me pants for a couple of secs expecting them to want another £1000 or summink silly but it hiked up another £200 or maybe a little more, i try to forget. Hope your accident story has a happy ending mate.
  10. Your car was an extremely looking mint machine before Mr Drunken Wreckless Driver got involved. I guess it means you've still got the good codition running gear, engine and such so it would be a waste to Write it Off. Like homie was saying, if you were planning on running it in2 the ground, this is a great opportunity to seriously individualise your car, and it won't be a half hearted part respray attempt, a very good quality kit and a full respray (why find another mint one to to maybe consider doing the same!)
  11. Hi ya Guy's and Gal's, just wondering if any1's got a set of standard 17" Factory Supra Wheels to flog, they don't need to be immaculate (obiously no big chunks missing or warped) but decent enough condition to drive on so i can send my 18" split rims off for refurb. Will obviously pay for them and collect, prefurbly a location reasonably near to London. Tyres not necessarily an issue as ill probly slap some budgets on it not planning on any strip action those on. Any help with my dilemma would be appreciated, Cheers!
  12. I thought it was quite a convoy up from the South on Sun, don't know what you guys thought (it was my first). Remenber looking in the rear view n side mirrors on the M1 thinking how random it was, a swarm of noisey Supras snaking in and out of the traffic! Shame the weather was a bit moody, what was with all the wasps!? or was that just me being attacted by them! Soz to hear your unfortunate news justin, hope u n the 4 legged friend are doing ok.
  13. Cheers Michael, I feel privleged Space No.6, are u not going 2Billing yourself or have i missed a posting saying why? Should i be in a chat room to get the low down in these discussions. Being a Newbie chap on the MKIV Block, I dont see too many MKIV round my way, will be interested to see some others and find out how the MKIV Sup responds to different tuning methods, i've heard some many conflicting Do's and Dont's on mods aint got a clue whats next on my Supe's agenda. Bought it with Blitz NUR Spec system and front x1 Decat and some random 18" Poor looking bling bling RIMS(i'm after some Nice Jap Jobbies, good to see what some look like at the show). Iv'e since put a set of OE Toyota Side Skirts, got rid of the(Replica?) Top Secret Front bumper (that looked as though it had had a few too many argements with high pavements and a few sleeping policmen) in aid of a OE with some increased cooling mods. Anyway cheers mate, should be up Sun (poss Sat camp up)
  14. Hello again JB Just spoke to Paul Whiffin, he's based pretty close to where i live, he said he's pretty busy at the mo so he may not make it Billing. Sounds like the best plan is to meet up with a convoy down there on the Sun. Not sure if i fancy slumming it in a field for a weekend. Felt a bit trampy after a weekend in a field at Santa Pod Jap Show. Always having a good Beer Tent session and a sobering night in a cold field before departing these events i would have thought.
  15. Hi JB Do u reckon your already strapped for space on the MKIV Spot? You say its for BBS Members. Iv'e only just joined up in the last day or so, £10 paid and everything! I must be keen. Anyway how do i go about reserving a spot?
  16. Hey guys, this year will be my first a Billing! Went Jap Show at Santa Pod, just wondering if its the same kinda set up as there. It looks a little more organised to me, should i be signing up for a spot on the MKIV plot? My mate with a Skyline wants to know if the parking areas are on tarmac or grass, he has a NISMO disablity, limited access front bumper! I said he should sign up with a Skyline club the get a allocated plot, be reckons turning up a blagging a spot wherever will be ok, what do you guys reckon? How many places are left on the MKIV spot, am i right in thing theres more room on the spot this year cos MKIII'ers have got their own this year?
