I used stuff bought from michael on here - worked a treat - and i hosed down the bay - no electrical problems...remember to put a plastic bag on any non stock intake tho!!

Just back from the day - was a cracker!!! and i have the obligatory sunburn to go with it good to meet a few new supra members - you know who you are and hopefully you will be on this forum soon as i gave you all calling cards!!! I got a new best time too

since changing to the CW decat pipes my boost dropped to 0.9 on the dot!! was running nearer 1 bar with Envy 1st decat and 2nd cat still in. now that may make me a little slower...unless of course the free flowing air is taking more heat away now the cat is out...will see on sunday also have put the blitz induction back on...which i know people claim is worse thanthe standard box...but it shaved .1 of a second of my best time so it stays......my theory being that as soon as the car moves forward hot air in the engine bay aint a problem at launch speeds as it all gets rammed towards the back of the engine bay making way for all that nice cold air to hit the induction cone...my theory anyway!!! as for tomorrow - who else is going? what time? and is there a convoy? if so i will be at my usual spot Irvine

after all the qualifying days i was at...my car will be running slower than normal....shame as i was 2nd in the previous qualifiers and was hoping to do better and get that mr2 of the top spot for rear wheel drive!!! guess its down to you K

with a good launch i would hope to see youin the 12s....i am running approx 350 at wheels and can manage low 13s...hope to be there on the day to see you do better. i had to change tyres this week and found the hub rings for my wheels are disintegrating...so i am hoping to get a couple machined otherwise i wont be running... hope to see you sunday who else is going?? the cold weather is here....lots of faster times about to be set!

i have just fitted both CW decat pipes and restrictor ring to my car heres the story so far i am now hitting .9 boost....my options are too increase the diameter of the restrictor ring to increase boost...in theory this seems good except that if i get the boost to 1.2 just now....when the cold weather comes along and i put the foot down...i could potentially see anything up to 1.5 with the dense cold air - definitely not good 2nd option is a boost controller as i can raise boost to a ceiling of 1.2 without it going higher...or should in theory! the other option is as follows....get the first cat removed and fit an envy pipe - its about 3" diameter as opposed to CW 2 1/2"-....this raised my car to 1 bar with the 2nd cat still in- this also meant i still passed an MOT. I did however change the plugs as this small increase did mean i needed the platinum plugs (as described in a previous plug thread) hope this helps

Todd i am in the same predicament too last garage i used were reliable but last service overfilled my oil by a litre...not good!!! apart from that they were ok...rjm in glenrothes. so also looking for somewhere your other option is falkland performance in glenrothes...but they charge a small fortune dont know if dastek in dalgety bay do anything? if you find somewhere - let me know ps...was recommended by a "friend of a friend" not to use wishaw...not sure which "garage"!

sounds about right for mine just took a trip to Oban yesterday - got back today...round trip was 335 miles had a 1/4 tank...topped up with £51 then £26....and just got back with a 1/4 tank that was with both sensible and spirited driving

hmmmm? i had the sus...put back the stock box then back to the sus... got my best 1/4 time with the sus.....????? however some may say on here its down to atmospheric conditions!!!.... TBH it was a similar day for both my ever best ever times...i am keeping the sus - i love the sucking sound!!! not to mention the best 1/4 mile time edited to mention the stock box had an apexi filter....am sure that will make a huge difference!!!

i feel a track day coming on....can i borrow someones car????
