I was attending an RR day today and had problems as my car (auto) would not stay in gear and obtain a proper reading.
I found this in an earler thread and wonder if i should book in for a second go....see below:)
Ok Ok, I believe the easy way is just to select man-u and stick it in drive. Trouble is that locks it in 3rd not 4th (which is the one you want). If you want a proper power reading you need to do this and then at 4,000 rpm turn manu off, this will put it in 4th keeping the throttle down full. It'll mess the curve up though...
opinions pleez as i dont have a scooby! (i have a soopra!! )
