since crashing my car January 25th of this year i have headaches regarding a payout and only today received my cheque. I am in no way blaming Sky, however the company that accepted my insurance was Ensign who use a company called claimtec to sort out payment. These are some of the worst bunch of muppets i have ever had to deal with. If ever i insure with sky again...it would be to check the quotes and rule out ensign, otherwise I was happy with the cover (£200 more than Elephant but with the agreed price i wasnt hurting in the pocket:d ).

bumpity bump before i hit ebay ps still have the baffle out of my nur spec r somewhere in the garage

Some people have asked for the turbo spec - this what i know The external wastegate is needed when running in TTC I believe and it fits directly to the welded on branch of the UK exhaust manifold that came with the hybrids. As for down pipe it'll depend on what type of connection you have for your exhaust. My old one was a V band connection so there was an "adaptor" piece made that went from a 3 bolt exhaust flange to a V band Wouldnt go more than 1.4 though if I were you Stage 3 Turbo Technic Hybrids hope this helps

Quick Q for folks will a UK decat pipe (1st) fit on a Euro-spec (German) Supra? I am assuming it will and that its only the steering wheel on the wrong side? cheers Irvine

you were in the focus cos the white supra i saw put yours to shame! as for the listing - just the wind matey!
-
the manifold is there too you do need the uk decat pipe i have for sale which connects manifold to your exhaust system in the normal way. There is o mapping required for this - should be a straight swap i believe supraman has uk tubbies in his jspec think the external wastegate needs set up correctly tho

saw you heading into fife. looked like a veilside wing on the back but couldnt see much more - apart from it looking very white for such a dirty day! I off course was walking over the bridge as i have no Supra but do have too many pounds around my middle hence the walk!

cheers for the kind words! TDr - i knew you would mourn too ! as for the corner nige - it sure is a b*****d!...i heard somewhere it should be getting the yellow grip stuff...a little too late for me tho..and i aint the only person to come to an end on that corner. Jae - am awaiting officail feedback on said condition of car. as for soop ownership...i am taking a break but still have 3litres sitting on the drive for the moment - shame its a vauxhall !! but lets see how long i last before i need to feel the power of the boost again!

I want another one but may wait a while as i am tempted to get rid of the credit card debt i built up with this car....its too tempting to pay it off with the payout i expect. that said - the other half isnt keen to see me in another soop so quick. i have rolled a BMW about 6 times 4 years ago and it is still remembered by said person LOL did walk away from that too tho - think i will change my profile name to Tabby!

everything sold to this man for twice the price!

wasnt going fast...was entering a slip road onto am ain road...it has a small tight turn which is notorious for slippage...i took my time as i went round - or so it seemed - back end kicked out and i was sliding sideways to the outside crash barrier. i corrected and found that i had done well but the car was now pointing towards the other side...TC cut in and with no power or any response from the steering (steering was locked the other way from where i was sliding!) went straight over the kerb and flew over a steep embankment - the car nose dived, flipped and landed roof down on trees - car was wedged fast above the ground. Think i am just pleased no branches pointed in my direction! no more than 30mph - cant believe it!
-
LOL all were original! spats too:( i am seriously upset...new stereo in last week ...and then new battery and uk lights week before...al f**ked! as for the nice electronics - left em all in there as they are declared and i have an agreed valuation with sky but the bits i didnt manage to fit will be available soon:D
-
getting a bit sore now...just glad to be out...the doors were jammed shut and there was a tank of petrol dripping out...had to be pulled out via the rear window as i was sitting on the roof and the car was above ground wedged into the trees...a bit scary!
-
Well after 3 and 1/2 years ownership and almost getting the car to where i wanted it....see pix....i have lost the lot to some bad luck, a sharp bend and a seriously greasy road! Dont think my baby has survived! i on the otherhand after the car flipped and landed on the roof wedged between tress walked away with a few minor cuts...if you look closely at all the dents you can see just where the trees battered the car! Still i celebrated with a bottle of wine and a few whiskys tonight - said my goodbyes to the car and celebrated me being here! I cant believe this only happened at 12.30 this afternoon! considering the date...i crashed and "burned"!! :D wheres my haggis?? Irvine
