  1. 1.1 -1.2 with all that expenditure = hardly worth it for 15-20ish bhp gain. 1.1 > 1.4 will be noticeable.
  2. interesting article. "but because of demographic changes in the UK in certain areas it has to run on a covertly racist ticket. Try getting elected in Bradford as a Jew or a philo-Semite." points to a larger issue that no one seems to be addressing......

Don't understand why the labour govt is Pro EU? For one continued uncontrolled immigration hits the "working class" & people on benefits the most.......
  4. Lets also hope that the Blarite Sadiq Khan doesn't win the mayoral elections....
  5. The interNHS needs a total reform - the system is archaic, super inefficient and clearly not sustainable to serve the worlds population. Agree that Doctors shouldn't be working crazy hours - do they still clock 90hr weeks - that used to be the case 20 years ago? Having used the NHS recently for the birth of our daughter I was not impressed with the quality of junior doctors around....they are like poorly programmed robots - I am sure there must be better ones too, perhaps we were unlucky on three occasions. Regardless of the above - I find it amazing that they (BMA, Junior Doctors Assoc, Govt) have been in conversation for the past 3 years.......about time that action is taken. Total reform - starting with a fee at point of service like most european countries. what little support they had off me they wonderfully lost all of it due to removing emergency care. I have little tolerance for people holding the country to ransom.
  6. if the insurance is going to be involved by default then what choice does the OP have?
  7. Dont believe that the doctors should be allowed to strike - however do agree that negotiations needs to take place. There is no excusing that the NHS needs a major reform (inc - free at point of service) - clearly the status quo is not sustainable.
  8. you my friend are very lucky - not a busy road and you weren't going too fast (looks like 40-45??) and hit the post without causing even more damage to yourself or the car. Eagle F1 are very good tyres - 36psi is a tad high however will be surprised if that was the culprit here. how old were the tyres as the F1s were discontinued a while back. is your car an Auto? I always found the stock TC to be useless. best to either get racelogic (which is impressive) or learn to drive the car without it. I had RC on mine and then upgraded to a S6 (with built in traction) - these are so much better than the stock system - a life saver. don't mean to be harsh - recommend you to a track day at an airfield and improve your driving skills.
  9. Hope you pursue with getting the car fixed - and fingers crossed the chassis and roof are straight and it's only cosmetic.
  10. Branners - that was one dirty surpra.....tut tut Amazing transformation - need to get my 981 booked in...... Great thread - keep up the good work.
  11. When the time comes - I wonder if some of you will put yourself forward as a character witness
  12. used to run those sizes on my car - had to get the arches rolled.
  13. Just seen this - a big oops...... Well atleast the Supra is back in the media for being the bad influence

About time we have an open debate rather than worry about being labelled racists.....these are serious issues that need to be discussed if we are to make progress.
