Just happened to check the forum properly after a couple of weeks and certainly shocked to see this thread. I could see it coming however wasnt expecting it to be this soon, lesson learnt for next time - get a ride in Jamie's car before he decides to break it Best of luck with your new project - certainly will be interesting to see what you do with it and whether you prefer it over the surpa or not. missed out on a lot of tasty parts, you lot are worse than vultures.......

Have one in the car and use it from a precautionary perspective rather than performance - car is tuned accordingly.

I have no choice but to drive like that in London .... I like quick spooling Turbos I do see Jamie's point though - for an extra 40bhp it is hardly worth it - IMO. -
UK setup is more than apache of handling those requirements

Great info. Have no personal expertise in this area and simply going by heresay. If these other turbos and setups are as good as they say they are then surely they would publish all the relevant information to silence the critics. I am extremely happy with my T61DBB, personally wouldnt want the setup to spool any quicker. To the OP - suggest you try out different setups and see which one works best for your needs. Everyone's "opinions" and "expectations" of a street setup with quick spool are different.

was really dissappointed to see them demote Hamilton to the back of the grid. McLaren always seem to get treated extremely unfairly. Mind you they dont do themselves any favours by royally screwing up for the past 3 years.
