Whatever you do - dont bother with a southbend clutch - they are useless (not just the clutch, the company too).

Picked up the car from Lee Yesterday. Good news - Engine gets the all clear from Mr P and so does the Turbo - used some fuel treatment and a few blasts which seems to have done the trick. Oil Cooler fitted with thermostatic plate LeeP's custom Airbox fitted New Brake All Round FULL SERVICE (all fluids) Couple of bits still need to be addressed - will try and drive the car in the meantime in order to report back to Mr P. Unlikely - with fuel prices the way they are - I would be surprised if a non German manufacturer mass produced a car similar to the GTR again. - - - Updated - - - His car in White does look really nice.

Agree. Been driving mine for 9 years now, done over 60k miles and never had an issue with the back end unpredictably stepping out. Sorry, I do lie - it did when the roads were covered with 3 inches of snow

The GTR moved the game on in terms of performance, , interior design, technology, handling, styling (although not to everyones taste). The GT86 is certainly not about outright performance - has it however moved the game on in any other respect? To me it seems like a Hyndai Coupe..

Fairly light in comparison to newer cars on the market - take the GTR for example OR even M3, M5s. Ive driven a new M3 round brands hatch and was extremely impressed by how well the car handled - extremely balanced. the grip too was impressive. having said that, none of those have 500WHP - perhaps there is much more to it that the power, torque and tyres - maybe advancement in suspension, chassis & meterial technology is leaving the supra behind?

That was an interesting watch - seems like you were fighting the car a lot.
