What evidence is there that motorists + human influence is the result of global warming and that this is not just a natural cycle of the earth's evolution. Some scientists believe that our impact is negligible over for example the likes of bush fires / volcanoes, etc....
do we really? look at london for example.....there are far too many empty bus lanes on the roads including the M4....
I do agree that there is a lot of concentration around london, if people were to spread out around the UK then that would also reduce the traffic in the main cities.
The fact is that the 4 main cities in the US are responsible for 25% of the WORLDs pollution and they arent doing anything about it.
I think we should look seriously into other forms of fuel. re-forestation, reduce the dependancy on oil, etc. Will this really make an impact on global warming, maybe it will, maybe it wont - who knows?
however taxing car drivers like what they have planned have nothing to do with global warming; watch out - spin doctors in action.
