  1. I have sold an item to a policeman; I believe BTW: "shill bidding" is NOT allowed on ebay, Micheal caught him out and instead of owning up and apologising for his actions he started having a go at Gareth...which was bang out of order. Top Job Gareth for notifying those innocent bidders......HE IS A SCAMMER
  2. If these match the thor sets (heater etc) then I'd like a set as well....this would nicely finish my dash off.
  3. have you got another set of these Mr Loopy?

  5. It was meant to be in good humour, just like the cartoons and all (they are only cartoons guys - lighten up).....
  6. Bet they got 3 points on their license and a £60 fine though..... cant escape those SAFTEY Cameras
  7. nice promotion in nov 2005, well deserved
  8. Paul - good points on the numbers of cars, however in London you must admit that the policies of Mr Livingstone have made the traffic / road situation in the capital a lot worse than before his time. With regards to more cars being on the roads - that could well be true and perhaps if there was a better public transport alternative then people would use it. I for one notice that the trains, buses, underground (again London specific) are packed - so not as if people are NOT using public transport - you try and get people out of their cars then you need to provide them with a suitable alternative. Even if they succeed in stopping ALL CARS from driving in the UK TODAY - there is very little to say that the impact on reducing pollution will be significant. Point being - linking fossil fuel pollution to global warming is a bit rich without having all the evidence. I'd like to see the analysis of the impact of this road charging on business and the economy...... What about the growing population, we are @ approx 6 Billion people today and in order to sustain the american lifestyle for 3Bn people, you would need 3 earth planets apparently. With other countries developing and trying to live the american dream, I guess "global warming" on a GLOBAL scale is taking off like a rocket
  9. :thumbs:at your investigative work, doesnt this sort of behaviour violate the ebay T&C?
  10. fantastic example of a well looked after car at an excellent low price - good luck with the sale
  11. For a second I thought that was some sort of exotic sports car
  12. Nope.....test drove one, its got a good box, but I prefer a stick shift, enjoy the thrill of driving the car albeit slower than an auto....unless you are brutal with the gearbox and a bloody good driver Each to their own - like the man said, GT car = designed to eat away the motorway miles = hence autos are more common. Personally, cant remember changing gears too much while on the motorway....so not quite sure how that fits into the Auto & GT theory
  13. Lot more fun Driving the car rather than being driven
  14. very very lucky...no traction on grass. hope you find them.
  15. Thought I'd never say this to Mr. Malarkey... but I agree with the above.....
  16. My supra gives me 19-21mpg in the City of london and 27+ on the motorway - I think that is extremely impressive for a BPU - 3Ltr TT. My cousin just sold his BMW 645 cause it was giving him 7mpg in the city of london and 16mpg on the motorway What about other sports / performance cars>>>
