  1. l'll comment on the KAD brakes that I had. Bloody nightmare to fit as they were adapted for the supra not purpose built. Not to mention the rear pads would chatter while driving - bloody annoying. Amazes me how some of these namby Pamby companies think they can outsmart Toyota.
  2. I had UK brakes all round on mine and then went for KAD brakes all round. Personally I would have saved a lot of trouble and hassle had I simply stuck with the well proven UK setup. For hardcore Track driving perhaps a decent set of Brembos or similar would be a better choice over the very well designed UK brakes. imi
  3. k - in that case its a NA, get used to it
  4. you haven't mixed water with the fuel have you on a serious note - how does the engine sound? are all 6 cylinders firing when was it last serviced have you checked the plugs and cables? do the basics and report back.
  5. mine used to do this too - leaving it in manual mode solved the problem.

    Admiral

Exactly - they will replace factory fitted options but not aftermarket modifications
  8. Check if it has car tax on the dvla website. If you have a copy of the v5 you can even check the online MOT register
  9. Best way to see the different variations, the proper supra with turbo and the scaled down version, without
  10. Agree- doesn't look like a rust bucket in the pics.
  11. probably unlikely - however not many would like to hear that as the perception always is that aftermarket is better
  12. Installed a new Toyota flywheel. Those are dual mass and very high quality.
  13. certainly shop around - not only did I find them to be expensive, found their service to be a joke too. For the last 3 years of ownership I switched to A-plan. imi
  14. Yup Best clutch the car ever had, drove like stock (light pedal, no judder, no rattle) - super easy to drive in the city without any issues.

How many hours did they charge for?

    Hey from Norway

Welcome - any pics of the car?
  19. imi

    advice please!

Sounds like daylight robbery. Good luck with the small claims court proceeding - think you'll find that he will claim bankruptcy and absolve of any responsibility - typical scum
  20. I used mine as a daily Driver for 9 Years and it was a great 600bhp street car. Super quick spooling very smooth. All my driving was in London and despite being a fan of the 6sp gearbox if was not suited for our crappy London roads. Had it been an auto box the experience would have been far more comfortable.
  21. A great offer for those that have extra parts that they can spare for wee while.
  22. probably to keep HMRC on their toes....
