  1. Could care less about his look - hoping there is some sign of some competition and racing
  2. Thanks for the insight. So they have their own language, culture, customs, blah blah.....resentment between them and the Turks - and yet we seem to believe that come to Europe they would integrate into society. The stupidity of some people is truly baffling
  3. And the fact that's the chancers are so desperate to cross borders illegally to get to countries like Germany and the UK
  4. What a bunch of sissies Scott had it bang on - when you want to have fun - no better than the manual. however being practical and negotiating traffic - hard to beat an Auto. Tiptronic - best of both worlds? = no chance - too much of a compromise. I have a paddle shift gearbox in my Porsche and its great but not as fun as a manual.
  5. Thats why i left the link there to see how many would take the time to read it and start to connect the dots. we're a bunch of softies easily led by the media - like the chum said in a previous post - "media sheep" When is comes to doing the right thing -
  6. whether used as a propaganda tool purposely or not is another matter - what baffles me is that let alone the continent - we as a nation have been sat on our backsides while millions of innocent Palestinians including children have been massacred over the many years and even today - and we do nothing. And now with just the one photo of this innocent kid that I believe was put in harms way by no-one other than his own father - we start calling in on radio shows, signing petitions, sharing Facebook posts, forcing the PM to do a u-turn on his decision..........something to think about..
  7. Certainly built the foundation for the success that this country is today. Migrant crisis: Drowned boy's father speaks of heartbreak Alan Kurdi's father Abdullah said that shortly after their boat left Turkey for the Greek island of Kos it was hit by waves and the captain swam off. Thought Turkey was a safe country and opening its arms to refugees?
  8. Exactly - let's hope that they don't let any criminals, terrorists and chancers and offer refuge to genuine refugees. Certainly not a solution just a band aid In time we will see whether my post 79 rings true or not.
  9. When you read post 79 - did you understand what you were reading?
  10. seems like you are having a conversation with the voices in your head........
  11. http://qz.com/491751/hey-saudi-arabia-heres-what-you-can-do-to-help-the-syrian-refugees/ The giant construction companies that have built the gleaming towers of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh should be contracted to create shelters for the influx. Saudi Arabia has plenty of expertise at managing large numbers of arrivals: It receives an annual surge of millions of Hajj pilgrims to Mecca. There’s no reason all this knowhow can’t be put to humanitarian use.
  12. Rarely have I seen you so animated before.....chill winston....
  13. - isn't it worrying that all votes are counted equal.....
  14. What should happen is that the UN should take control and force all countries including neighbouring Arab countries to take on their fair share of refugees (families get a priority). UK like Germany should also take in their quota of refugees - probably equalling 800K or more - for this round - no doubts there will be additional rounds moving forward as the precedent will have been set. What we should NOT entertain is the chancers from Calais or the ones that are forcibly trying to break borders - they are not refugees, they are migrants and potentially criminals. As for the impact on the UK - most definitely put more pressure on the finances of the UK as unlikely that most of these people will work or be allowed to work legally. Will reduce the quality of life for all - which is not that strenuous considering that we seem to be living unsustainable lives in any case - we can afford to change with a bit of compassion. Expect an impact on the benefit system and social housing to reduce the share per claimant both genuine (which will be a shame) and for the benefit cheats (which I personally would like to happen). This will then force a major overhaul of the welfare system, including NHS, hopefully unions, social housing, benefits, JSA, etc - which again is desperately needed - somehow even stop the free movement of people between the UK and Mainland - they will find a way to force this though.
  15. Not sure about you avoiding being a media sheep - certainly are doing a good job avoiding the facts and common sense. And no; you have yet again ignored the obvious point like scooter before you.
  16. Missed the point or chose to ignore it yet again..... Oh well.
  17. Touring cars is far more entertaining than current f1.
  18. No point responding back in any detail as he is ignoring the point that has been made repeatedly. They seize to be refugees if they refuse to port in the 1st safe country. Ones who are desperately trying to come to Western Europe are not refugees they are chancers and at worse potential criminals
  19. 50p per kWh - was that the feed in tariff? What was the export tariff? Numbers seem much more lucrative than what they are now
  20. Problem is we have a rising population of people in Britain who don't pay their way through life and are accustomed to the perception that's everything is on the house. These unrealistic socialists have zero understanding of the unsustainable pressure the country is in as their only contribution is the labour vote once every 5 years.
