  1. perhaps the guy can do with a night out in town.......building on havard's suggestion
  2. Good luck to you I do find it surprising that knowing what you know about her you put your job at risk.....bizarre.
  3. what we should do is not what will interest the trigger happy, blood thirsty people amongst us. what I am certain will happen is a continuation of a super successful business model that I alluded to earlier
  4. Found this post on Facebook (Richard o'brien) that put forward an interesting viewpoint - with some facts (although I have t personally verified them) “France drops 20 bombs on IS stronghold” Sometimes saying stuff is hard. Like when you see a depressingly predictable headline like this, and you want to say “it’s not France, it’s their government”. You want to say that each of those 20 bombs carries a destructive power roughly equivalent to the Bali bombing. You want to say that even with laser-guidance systems, each of those bombs has, at best, a 50% chance of landing within 10 meters of its target. You want to say that according to the estimates of a number of NGOs, the casualties from those bombs will be 80-90% civilian. And you want to say that the “IS stronghold” is otherwise known as the city and district of Ar-Raqqah. You want to say that the city has stood since 300 BC, and was Syria’s sixth largest city when the civil war began. You want to tell people that although it’s an IS stronghold today, last year it was a stronghold of the al-Qaeda affiliated al-Nusra front, and the year before that, the Assad regime. You want to say how unbelievably terrifying the atrocities carried out on the citizens of Ar-Raqqah by all three of those occupiers have been since 2011. You want to say that those 20 bombs are part of a $10 billion a year industry, whose biggest customers until recently included Iraq and Syria. You want to say how that industry has made France one of the top 5 weapons exporters today. And you want to say that before the war Ar-Raqqah's only significant export was cotton. You want to say that before the war Ar-Raqqah was a district of close to one million Shia, Sunnis and Christians, and that today there are less than 400,000. You want to say how some of those people fled the terror of Assad, al-Nusra and IS, and the retaliatory airstrikes they called down upon them. You want to say that they fled because they couldn’t tell the difference between having their lives, limbs or loved ones taken from them by a bomb that was laser-guided, and one that was strapped to a person. And you want to say that those people are the asylum seekers that so much hatred and blame is now being levelled at, by the same pissants who lead us down this path after 9/11. You want to say we’re making the same mistakes that created monsters like IS, and laws against our freedom that do nothing to protect us from terrorism, and everything to protect those lawmakers from us. Sometimes saying stuff is hard. It’s hard because even if you can find a way to say all those things, you’re not sure anyone’s going to listen. Because sometimes saying stuff is easy. Stuff like “all terrorists are Muslim”, or “we should close our borders”, or “France drops 20 bombs on IS stronghold”.
  5. Our tanks are better than theirs, our military personnel are better trained, weapons are more accurate - sounds like some d...k waving contest.
  6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIuX0qwqXVw
  7. Possibly - their establishment is run by war criminals - so would not put it past them. Sorry again - speculation on my part - no facts.
  8. last 25 years should be enough of a track record - yet our politicians seem keen on making the same "mistakes" again - or are they?? i've already covered the business model in my post - sorry Al - it is NOT A FACT though - unlike you, not in the know.
  9. ive seen this excuse used in the past - as I have said before we are good at reacting to symptoms like what the French are now doing - no one is looking at the root causes of the issues - unless that is being discussed, being addressed we will simply be waiting for the next european city to be hit.
  10. our lack of intelligence services is shocking - akin to the after the fact french intelligence service - putting all the pieces together now that hundreds have lost their lives - i fail to see the point. Inept is a good way to describe us Brits and Europeans - they cant safeguard the average joe from anyone left alone ISIS. All our services know how to do is send us a tax bill, monitor our internet for Porn, give us parking tickets and send the bailiffs if we dont pay for a TV license.
  11. Facts - isn't 25years of terror in the middle east where millions have lost their lives not FACT enough for you? Religious / non-religious - What is the big deal either way? why are you so hell bent on it? watch the recent documentary of the british girls who went to Syria to be ISIS brides - those that managed to escape confirmed that they were NOT religious and were a bunch of nutters. Is that FACT enough for you or are you looking to personally interview those subjects? As for Israel - I may be wrong, however I do find it strange that Isis don't even MENTION Israel in any of their rhetoric. normally for such nutters they cant seem to take a breath without mentioning Israel.
  12. Abz makes a good point - it's these nutters were fighting for some Islamic / religious cause (albeit their twisted interpretation) then how come they don't attack the "arch enemy" Israel? To me the whole thing is a sham...unfortunately many thousands of lives have been impacted and continue to do so as we get hoodwinked by the powers to be through the media.
  13. thats our man......a triple WDC.....
  14. Sorry to be a cynic - war is a profitable business, the names of the group / targets change but essentially its the same formula: indirectly they are funded by us (or our allies) we prop them up over the years to maybe do our dirty work and then it goes out of control as essentially we are funding psychos we then mobilise billions of dollars on military action, funding military programs, more weapons, etc to bring back to a manageable level until it is propped up again under another guise. the cycle continues You can insert any name into the above formula, gaddafi, saddam, Assad, usama or even the new nut jobs - Isis/ Daesh, whatever....... Never do we actually want to solve the problem as that would break the cycle and hence the business model. This time round - special recognition to Merkel for having the best of intentions however not thinking her Refugee policy through and opening the floodgates to god knows how many hundreds / thousands of sleepers now in Europe. Europe inc UK already is a paradise for all sorts of nutters - Abu-Hamza being one of many many examples. we give them a safe haven to preach their hatred and run their recruitment campaign and then cry wolf when it bites us in the backside - Look at the French terrorist - the authorities were aware of them and did bugger all / homegrown how stupid can one be? Look at this article as a contributing factor - we allow societies to be broken up / segregated communities another community with loads of issues - breeding radicalism and extremism on both sides how do these nutters contribute to european societies? they must be on the dole? indirectly we are funding them some people call this tolerance - I call it stupidity.
  15. i've heard this too - who supplies the Saudis with the weapons? how come no one is sanctioning the Saudis for funding and promoting terrorism? similarly - why the special consideration regarding the Kuwaitis? indeed, private companies with commercial interests.....
  16. https://www.facebook.com/theprojecttv/videos/10153243154568441 Interesting Video - worth the watch - think the French are playing right into their hands.
  17. Its a complete farce. According to Einstein the definition of Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. We have waged Bush's and Blair's war against terrorism for 20 years and where did it get us = in a far more dangerous place than before. Perhaps someone can help educate me on why we care so much about Kuwaitis as per my post here..
  18. You're right - I have missed the point of all of this cause from where I am standing it looks like a bloodbath that we have contributed to in a major scale since 1990. And the world is a much more dangerous place today as a result of it Back to my question Why the special treatment for the Kuwaitis? Wasn't saddam one of our own (US CIA) why take him out?
  19. why were we so eager to save the Kuwaitis? why the special allegiance to them while hundreds of thousands of iraqis, syrians and others have been allowed to perish? - - - Updated - - - Good post
  20. Hasn't the govt already admitted that there was no proof and the entire saga of WOMD was doctored?
  21. What an absolute disaster.... Thoughts with the families effected. it does amaze me at how the people in power continue to focus on the symptoms (e.g: ISIS) and never the source of the actual issues, until that line of thinking is changed there is zero chance of this being resolved. Hypocrisy is rife....
