  1. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-35744573 These numpties need to be dealt with - their barbaric ideology is a major cause for concern and the source of which needs to be addressed.

parking the refugees crisis aside for the moment - what happened to the Greek debt & "lack of" economy situation, no one seems to be talking about that anymore?

Like you I am pro humanitarian too With regards to Refugees - I believe the UK can do a much better job in that respect. Merkel and her EU chums have proven what a bunch of incompetent buffoons they actually are. The EU has been a failure for the past 20 years; I am surprised when I see people that believe that the future will be different when the corrupt system remains unchanged.

Agree with all bar from "cultural integration" - the key word here is integration - provided we have that then cultural integration is a wonderful asset to the society, the country & to the world.
  5. Apparently the nanny was wearing a hijab - alluding to her being a muslim and such ferocious acts would be associated to jihadists - perhaps in due course there will be confirmation either way.

    Europe

Off Topic here so will keep it short. Don't think he had a role to play against the non-religious baathist Saddam - more to do with the Russians through the Afghanis. They did however prop Saddam up with loads of weapons, training, funds, etc to fight against the Iranians. Weapons / War - outsourcing of Military service is a profitable business.

Several Links between ISIS & allies like Saudi & US - funded, trained, propped up & supported. ISIS are good for business provided they are kept away from our shores - problem is the chickens are coming back home to roost.

I would argue that we are much better off being OUT of the EU if we stand a chance on clamping down on terrorism - both homegrown & foreign. Look at the disaster in the making Lets also not forget that the Belgian terrorists that attacked France were known to the Germans - this demonstrates a massive failure in info sharing between the "top" EU nations resulting in an attack - with the new larger EU - how can we trust these incompetent idiots in protecting our citizens.....
  10. This is Germany - allegedly the most organised, resourced out of all the European nations. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-35667858 How do they plan on keeping us safe from the terrorists, both homegrown and foreign - when they have no idea where a large new population in their country (continent) is.....

    Europe

i'll leave the immigration conversation aside as that is very well covered in the media & I believe that is a small token of what is at stake here. EU has been around for the past 17 years, initially with member states that were "reasonably" comparable to eachother (lifestyle, democracy, laws, culture?) - and in that time it has hardly been a success, i'd call it a massive failure. Now that it has been extended to accommodate new member states I for one don't see how it can ever work. I remain unconvinced that we need to be part of the EU in order to trade with the EU, not to mention that we as a nation should be & are looking to extend our trade relations beyond the EU - with special relations with China as an example. Finally and more importantly - this is about our sovereignty & democracy, I don't see any reason to hand over our power to a bunch of unknown unelected unaccountable bureaucrats in Europe - regardless of the financial outlook if we were to pull out. With that in mind and having read the views on this thread - I remain in the OUT camp.
  12. Rosie - sorry to read about the situation that you find yourself in, have you visited moorfields (spelling) in London? my folks both doctors have discouraged me from getting it done for the past 15 years. Now approaching 38 and reading horror stories like Rosie's it's something I can do without. Can live with being short sighted.
  13. Rip to sir terry Wogan
  14. Good post as for multi-cultural - what exactly do you mean? 1) do we mean different cultures living peacefully, mixing integrating together OR 2) multiple cultures co-existing in society but segregated, their own faith schools, "laws", rights, separate community centres, etc..... I would say we have more of the 2nd in many parts of the UK with specific communities - predominantly muslim (pakistani & bangladeshi) imi
  15. They are an elected Govt of elected MPs - system isn't perfect but its far better than our cousins across the pond. And thanks to the Tories the country is in a far better shape that when it was under Labour. Don't worry - Corbyn is the ultimate saviour -
  16. With attitude like that no wonder the Govt (which are of the people) don't have the balls to do whats necessary to have a fair and sustainable NHS for generations to come - or should I say "international health service" - drowning the country is even more debt. Germany, France, Belgium, Scandanavia, Portugal all have this system for over 20 years - so hardly rocket science - helps to know what goes on in the rest of the world.
  17. Start charging everyone a tenner to see the GP GBP50 to use A&E & Ambulance Prioritize british nationals over the rest Tighten up on the benefit claims = housing, unemployment, etc. Have an immigration rule similar to OZ and watch how all the parasites (both home grown and foreign) get their act together.
  18. Im sure they all do, however their hands are tied due to our democratic system and their hunger for power. The only way to solve this is if the two main parties join in unison over this particular matter and abstain from scoring political points over each other for the betterment of the country.
  19. these 4 have been identified cause they most probably wanted to be....
  20. certainly was true of the past - with the oil prices at an all time low projected to hit USD10 we can already see the cracks forming in Saudi and potentially other oil rich middle east terrorist states. personally happy for them to be left alone however cant ignore the enemy within - that has to be dealt with.
  21. Worth watching.....http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-jihadis-next-door Why don't we lock these guys away or send them to a nut country like Saudi once and for all.
  22. The real menace - thousands born and breed in Europe and exported to Iraq & Syria capable of travelling to and fro without too many issues. Not to mention non-european nutters who will most definitely have infiltrated Europe on the back of the refugee crisis - as Isis promised. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/female-isis-jihadist-tortures-syrian-7136368 Our European leaders are hell bent on destroying Europe by being too PC - and not taking appropriate action. we should get out of Europe and protect our borders as a matter of priority, simultaneously dealing with the enemies within.
  23. Regardless of whether we agree with Trump's views or not he is an american presidential candidate and hence can't be ignored - as Alex Salmond is finding out...... I wonder whether the reaction would have been different had he been an electoral candidate of a less important country.
  24. Step in the right direction by the PM - important to empower specifically women and make them part of society - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-35345903 - people seem very quick to criticise, personally think a lot more needs to be done however living in this PC world (excuse the pun) politicians are treading on egg shells.
