Thanks for the info Gaz, much appreciated Common probs with TVRs? In all honesty, from what i can tell almost anything and everything is susceptible! I always wanted one but couldn't take the risk, but with the 05's coming with a factory 3 year warranty it pushed me past the point of risk im willing to take. The 05's obviously cost a fair bit, especially at a time when prices are dropping. But seriously, you just gotta drive one!

ooh really? Did spend a bit of time on pistonheads, but they seem to have a policy of not slagging off traders etc, so all very hush hush on what to avoid. Its got under 3k miles on it, servicing so far done by peninsula TVR. PM would be appreciated. The noble was very tempting, there is seriously nothing faster. Acceleration is mind blowing. But the interior was too stripped out and bare for me.

Heard good things about the 05 engines, with the TVR warraanty and dealer wear and tear on top, im hoping i'll be ok! Especially as i'll be using it as my daily driver! But that noise when you fire it up, i reckon you could forgive it anything! Will miss the supe, felt really sad driving it home after buying the tiv knowing it will be sold soon. If anyones genuinely interested in it by the way, make me an offer. I'm in a good mood you may get a bargain

Well the supes not quite sold yet, but the replacement is on its way! After test driving an exige, Noble M12 GTO3-R and a hundred different porsches, the TVR won hands down. There just something about it, fire one up, drive it and you have to have it. Its an 05 plate so got 3 years manufacturers warranty, as well as full wear and tear cover. Well aware of the possible "issues" with these cars, but I'm willing to risk it. Official stats: 0-60 4.4SECS 0-100 9.5SECS MAX175+

PRICE DROPPED TO £7,500 ONO Had quite a few interested parties, mainly international. I have found the car i want next, so the supe has to make space on the driveway. Serious offers considered for a quick sale.

Hey guys, Has anyone got experience of what has to be done when a car is sold and taken abroad? I assume theres a de-registration process. Couldn't find anything useful on the DVLA site. Any help appreciated!

Thanks for the comments guys. It does pain me to sell it, taken alot to get it looking exactly how i want it. A little secret for you all, this is how it looked when i bought it! As you can see, a fair bit of work gone into this car! The spoiler really is a personal preference, so i posted up pics of both. I think its priced fairly for the current market. Next purchase is likely to be a 911. Slilghtly tempted by an exige, but if i get that I'll prob keep the supe as its a bit cheaper then the 911. Any questions etc feel free to ask.

Is he familiar with the fog light mod? The car electrician i just dropped it too called back. Tried to tell me the whole cars on the blink cos it wont turn off when he takes the key out! Attempted to explain turbo timer, told him to down tools and step back instead! Could you PM me his details please.

I'll have a look to see if i can find the original lamp and swtich. But its doubtful! Thats why i was thinking the fog light mod would be easiest. No parts or bits for that whatsoever, apart from screwdrivers etc

not quite that easy. Used to have the horrible hangy offy thing from the bumper. Now lost it So need something wired in from scratch.

the older 993s are def the better looking, the dated interior now lets them down IMO. I couldn't put up with that

I am changing soon to a 996, C2 or C4 (bnot overly fussed) but with GT3 kit. And maybe in yellow! The supes awesome, def quicker in a straight line. But take a 911 for a drive, u'll see what the big deal is. Its not all about straight line acceleration I'm afraid. Though I am sorely tempted to keep both!
