  1. Mate do you mean Jan 08? Might wanna change the ad on ebay too, unless you've been driving untaxed !! Good luck with the sale
  2. Hadyn, yours is activated by pressing the button that has ** on the secondary remote (I think it's the same on the primary remote too although can't be sure). Press it with the engine running and it'll switch itself off after two minutes once you take the keys out.
  3. cool, glad it was simple solution. plus I know not to trust the readings when the garage test the battery for me in the future.
  4. Hi mate, great to hear that you got back safely and all is well. I thought the same thing about the Supra being a GZ but I checked the VIN plate and I'm pretty sure it refers to a RZ model so someone at some point must've gone to the expense of having the extras, but if it turns out to be a GZ then congrats!
  5. yeah just in the same way
  6. Took it out tonight mate to try to keep the charge through the car. Bit sluggish when I first started it (since you left yesterday) but took it out for a drive for only 5-10 mins, then came back and started it a few more times over the next 10-15 minutes and it started in a split second each time.
  7. Seeing as I'm soon to be leaving the Supra community, and joining the Astra community, could someone point me in the direction of a site that provides decent mods. I'm buying the 1.6 club model (not the VXR ) and want to get a few mods to make it look a bit nicer (like the VXR but not necessarily the same) Also if anyone has any ideas about what to do with it please suggest away (no suggestions of trading it in for a Soop please! )
  8. Good to meet you too, and your mate James. Gonna be strange not having it outside ready to go for a spin every now and again, but glad she seems to be going to a good home.
  9. Yep, I've decided to go one better than everyone on here and have gone for something crazy... ... a nearly new Astra!!!! It's got 5 doors rather than the Supra's measley 3, a mahoosiv 105bhp, I'm waiting for clarification on the 0-60 time but I've heard a rumour if you start at midday and hit the gear changes right you can get there before sundown!! Like Hadyn, I'll be back with something in the future.
  10. anyone fancy buying this cheap TT this weekend. and it's cheap as I need to sell, not a reflection of the quality of the car
  11. Hello, Could someone tell me the cheapest way of getting some wheels delivered please? They are with tyres so weigh more but everywhere I check it looks like delivery is around £100. What about the traders on here? Could you tell me who you use and how much? Thanks, Rob.
  12. In Bath (not in the bath!) and yes it is, although I've never used it and nor did the previous owner. Since I bought it I've put it on a power run so I know it still pulls fine.
  13. *Update* Am going to put the car through the MOT shortly (pay day coming up ) After that the car is up for grabs for £5200. I'm happy for anyone to come along and I'll take them out for a drive so you can see the car perform for yourself. Let me know if you want it.
  14. For the price I'm willing to take for the car, someone should have plenty of money left over for making any changes they want to make, compared to buying another Supra.
  15. good point, could I send them to someone to host please, I'm not too good at the techie stuff !!
  16. **5200 now has brand new MOT, tyres with loads of tread and 4 spare wheels and steering wheel looking like new** Hi all, Due to having to buy a family car I have to let my Supra go. It's spec as follows: L Reg 1993 RZ Model (Twin Turbo) Auto Silver 114k miles Clifford Intelliguard 950 alarm, with turbo timer and window closure HKS Bov Cambelt, brakes, oil changes recently 12 disc changer Tax til Jan Proven 318bhp She has a couple of dents in, and I've been quoted just over £200 to put this right, although if you know/own a bodyshop you maybe able to get this done cheaper. Once this is done the bodywork will be excellent, at the moment due to the couple of dents I'd realistically class it as good. I've owned the car for just over 2 years and it's been sensational, the MOT runs out on 23rd October and the car needs atleast 2 new tyres (everything else should be fine). I'm open to offers. I'm planning on putting the car through the MOT (so tyres will be replaced) although if you want to make an offer based on no MOT I'll listen to that too (I'll MOT the car when someone is interested in it so the maximum life of the MOT can be passed to the new owner). So, if you can offer cash fairly quickly (no silly offers please) then email me on [email protected] or call me on 0794 4238935, but please, no silly offers if you are phoning me! And no phone calls at 3 in the morning either! A few people on here know me, so will know that I wouldn't sell a poor car. Any questions just ask. Thanks, Rob.
  17. When I had Jay/Lucifer/Martin in my car he said he had the same and it's the bushes need replacing, I still haven't got round to doing them though so can't confirm whether it solved the problem!
  18. try banana (it was a random word i thought of!!)
  19. Hello Jay, just thought I'd say well done so far, it's inspiring. I met you quite a few months ago at Interpro when I took you out for a Sunday drive in my stock Sup and you took me for a roller coaster ride in yours. Top work you're doing. Rob.
  20. I didn't realise yours was that colour, looks very nice mate.
  21. Hey there, yeah it was me had 20 mins to get from St Annes Park to Twerton so had to put my foot down where I could. I've seen your car around quite a bit too didn't realise it was you though. Didn't put my foot down properly as the unlit bit of the bypass is a nightmare with the Supra headlights. I'll give you a next time I see you. Just saw a nice green M plate Sup in Brislington too. Always nice to see other Sup's in motion.
