  1. Hmm I could be wrong but dosen't the ECU control the rpm ?/..
  2. Surely that is not the complete kit as I think you have to change the head gasket for a lower compression one ?? Or am I wrong Plus no ECU !...
  3. Morning peeps Just found this de-cat test pipe however I am sure I have seen it some where else for £20 quid .. any ideas where else I can get one from ?.. http://www.suprastore.com/tespip30diam.html I think I herd bad remarks about this company ? but not sure .. Cheers Charles
  4. Evening Peeps Found a good site with loads of supra vids , the downloads do go slow and some time take a age to start and you have to keep trying but they are worth it , just found this supra video with hulk hogans supra and various other nice supra's http://www.racingflix.com/getvideo.asp?v=384&p=19
  5. Cant get insured on a TT as it is group 20 insurance and group 20 cars are 21 or over , buget car insurance are good and elephant are ok but seem a bit iffy both of them wanted 1400 full comp on my own I added my mum as a second driver and the price came down 350 notes :)
  6. Nope I havent bent the truth yet and I have not lied to the insurance company ..I just cant wait till Iam 21-22 to have a TT thats a long way away .. so a turbo kit is the only way for me .. Had a 200sx before and the insurance company loved that aswell when I was 18 . .
  7. Sometimes faye you have to bend the truth a little ...
  8. How about putting a RB 26 DET engine in a supra it has been done before and you can get those r34 engines off of ebay for 2500k hole engine including gearbox and ecu etc . ? Iam thinking about turbo on my n/a as I miss haveing a turbo now , I would by a TT but iam only 19 and insurance company's don't want to know so na/turbo conversion will be the only way for me .
  9. Expect £300-£400 as this is the going rates unless you can find yourself a backstreet sprayer , (in cash) and they will do it for £150-200 notes.. I spray my self I have stoped recently due to a health scare its nasty stuff (BE WARNED to any one thinking about takeing it up ) I still have all the equipment though and plan to do my bumper and side skirts when I get some the cost in material for the front bumper will be less than £80 includes, thinners, 1 litre of paint ,1 litre of plastic etch primer, and the laquer.. excuse my spelling it is too early ..

Morning peep's Quick question the yellow supra pictured above , what front bumper is on that it looks bomex but not sure plus I havent seen that style for sale anywhere ? Cheers Charles
  11. Another option is you can get dual systems so LPG and Petrol and a flick of a switch changes between them ?.. as for the people who think LPG cars are as quick as petrol , I suppose we should tell the ferrari F1 team that they should use gas more gpm and it is just as quick ! Yea right
  12. Best way if you can not get the colour code or can not find some one to mix that code , if you chip a tiny piece of paint off from under the bumper were it is out of sight take this to your local paint dealer , near me is "total concept" paint's unsure if this is uk wide dealer , but alot of places have a machine that will analyze the paint and then mix paint for you, I have done this load's of times . ps the paint you get from halford's is not 2 pac paint it's cellouse , and also you will find it very hard to blend the paint in and get a good finish with a can. If you need any help pm me "my other skill is a automotive sprayer"
  13. Have to agree my old man had a lPG nissan primera for about 4 day's and that was slow ! . Whats the point if your trying to save money for the price of a conversion you could buy a second hand diesel car or a 1.0 petrol ..to run around in and supra for the weekend's if money is tight? As for doing it to a supra are you mad ! probably get beaten by alot of 2litre's petrol car's if you were running a n/a with LPG, but I suppose if all you look at all day is the mirror who is worried ..
  14. Not to bad I suppose so where did you get them from ebay ? and Private sale's ?[
  15. Yea that's is what I thought at first but it isnt have to see it really to see that it is not , and my friend imported a intergra type r and he said the same stuff and been cooked on his light's ,, he bought new light's in the end so how much are supra light's brand new then ?..
  16. I tried 1200 wet and dry and it made the plastic go dull and scratched , I suppose if you had the right polishing compand you might be able to polish it back up .. A friend saw that white stuff over the lights and said its the wax they spray over the car when it is shipped over and the sun has burnt it on the lights ..
  17. yea sorry plastic still iam happy with the results well worth takeing them apart,, oh and the look on my friend's face when he walked in and asked what I was cooking and then saw my supra headlight in the oven..
  18. cheers people for your idea's has made a 50 % difference which iam happy with I wouldn't use the thinners though tried a bit and it made the plastic smear ..
  19. Have a look at the pic maybe this might help show you what I am trying to say ...
  20. Hey ppl ,, Just taken my headlight apart the inside is fine it is the outer edge I have tried loads of cleaning product's to get it to come up nice . It's almost like overspray from paint but it is not the bottom of the headlight is covered in it,, ill take a pic later but what I want to know is there any where I can buy just the cover or do I have to go buy a whole uint costing ££.. Cheers Charles
