Hey peeps After seeing some v.nice sups up at silverstone on sunday, I want/need another one . The bin-liner is going to have to go. Ps, this is the supra that caught my eye ;

The supra I had was a n/a so can not really compare cars , apart from that I got out the supra into the skyline and the skyline interior felt cheap and nothing special almost same dash as my old dears 200sx. The carbon fibre on the car is not painted .

Its all spak carbon (shreddies) fibre the pics do not really do it any good . Iam finding it hard to find good traders like the ones on here i.e miami-gt they have a skyline section but it is empty, sky jawa (nice car ),where do you get your bits from ?.

Just a final thanks to ppl on this forum ,great bunch of ppl . I managed to part ex the sup on sat for a skyline will att a pic.Already finding things very different!. Cheers Chaz

Morning Peeps Last night a bunch of us decided to cruise on down to mean street cruise jap night meet(just past Dartford tunnel) . Very poor turn out, more nova gte's than I have ever seen parked in once place (nova gte=impreza just in case you are wondering what I mean) The red dragon supra was there looking very nice, a couple of cars down from that a gold sup with carbon bonnet looking very top secret style! Anyway some track action had got under way on the oval circuit, all being timed for the fastest lap, and next out was a sliver 95reg mkiv supra and I am thinking finally get the nova off. I would have been out there to but a n/a I just felt out of place. He comes out round the first bend drifting it and its looking good then it all goes wrong ,all the way round so he turns the cock-up into a doh-nut which looked sweet then ended the doh-nut fishtailing and then bang straight into the wall!, what a embrassement all the nova gte boys are laughing at this poor bloke, from what I could see at a far distance the bonnet is all bent and out of shape. Anyway I deiced to go to the pits to give some support to him but he had gone, a friend said they went through the pits earlier and that sup had the mkivsupra.net sticker so I am guessing it is someone on here?. A friend was filming most of the night I think he got the sup on video but I do not think hosting up the video is necessary. Sorry for the spelling folks I got in at 2.30am

Sounds good peeps what made me , ive got a set of standard supra alloys 225-50-16, and mytyres want 40 quid a tyre which makes it some good cheap sideways fun at low cost . A local garage charged me 15 quid to fit all four tyres and balance them,also to take away the old rubber,even though my mate did the job(ive never herd some one swear so much at a 19inch wheel), it still went through the books so I think this was the correct price seemed cheap to me though.

Has anyone had any dealings with mytyres.co.uk?,its just the prices just seem a little to cheap let alone free delivery on the price aswell. example my rear tyres 265-30-19 I last paid £145each and that was cheap I thought. same tyres from these people £102each

Ive seen this sup lots up at goodwood on trackdays, last month the car was up there 3 saturdays in a row,some old ish chap was driving it at goodwood though. Quick car it blow away a 911turbo as if he was a sunday driver with the handbrake up .

I Have looked at this aswell the total costing for the kits is 4k+ , which of course is cheaper to buy a tt engine and do a transfer . I was thinking about a mk3 turbo engine but they dont seem to produce much power and all have high miles .. Out of you list you need a different headgasket to lower the compression ratio also a ecu and a few other bits .
