I’ve had a look on eBay found these for a Lexus anyone used these pads before I am guessing fitment would be the same?. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LEXUS-GS-LS-ARISTO-SOARER-SUPRA-REAR-BRAKE-PAD-SET_W0QQitemZ250090135453QQihZ015QQcategoryZ100915QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem If not anyone recommend where I can get some?.

Hi All After converting to the dark side a year and a half ago "cough". I have just bought a non turbo aero top. I drove a long way to get it 3hrs and a bit in total. And ill admit I smiled all the way home. Was a good job I kept the member ship going . I am using my skyline as a pure track day car now ."Supra Matt" on here is currently spraying it for me. Anyway enough chit chat you will want to see some pictures no doubt. Good to be back Chaz.

I am currently running a gts-t after selling my sup over a year ago now.The car trade market certainty has changed .For the spec of your gts-t and if it is mint I would say around 4-5k give or take a bit. But dont worry its not only skylines have devalued. 2 years ago when I was looking for sups, the auto tt's where 7-8k upwards. Now the market is flooded with them and the price people ask for them they just don’t seem to sell. I have seen them going for 5-6k, this ones been sold now but just an example see link below. http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/CARS_popup.asp?modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=TOYOTA&model=SUPRA&min_pr=500&max_pr=8000&mileage=&agerange=&postcode=po207pe&miles=1500&max_records=200&source=0&photo=1&sort=3&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH&start=7&distance=33&adcategory=CARS&channel=CARS&id=200628242006734

I have read about this on another forum and this is true. I would not bother with one it may say your license once or twice if lucky but 3 red flags and the bip will be coming to pay a unexpected visit. From what I remember the guy said they raided his place at some stupid hour and inspected the car to find the jammer. Talk about up shits creek without a paddle.

I have owned both. I can’t really speak for performance reasons as I only had a na sup. And I have a gts-t but a rather special one full gtr look-alike including the rear flared arches which the gts always missed” not done by me a kid in Japan”. I used to cruise around a hell of a lot through towns etc, Portsmouth, Worthing, Chichester etc. And I have only once got shouted at in the supra, people always gave the looks but that was mainly the ladies woohooo. The skyline however I get kids, men shouting at me come on mate let’s hear it, wow skyline, come on launch it .And the ladies seem to hate the thing. I don’t get left alone in petrol stations either whether its some one else on the forecourt or the guy behind the counter , the most common question has to be what’s she running, they all assume skylines have huge bhp. The skyline defiantly appears to have a much higher street racing cred than the supra. The annoying thing is I find other “spirited” drivers were always up for a race in the supra they would sit on my arse and flash or come up along side and thumbs up, in the skyline they just don’t bother they creep past they seemed scared they are going to get there arse handed to them just because it’s a skyline. I love the supra styling its beautiful soft rounded in all the right places and well the interior compared to the skyline it’s a palace the skyline is very dull and not as well built, it looks the same interior as a s14 200sx and mines had the gtr interior put in id hate to think what gts standard seats are like. The skyline styling obviously has a more boxed shape, and to me and everyone else that makes comments on my car says that’s one mean looking machine. The gts-t I have never had so much fun going sideways I know it has been setup for it by the kid in Japan but even so it feels so much lighter than the supra and sideways is a dream its effortless. I am so much less paranoid booting it and drifting round roundabouts in the skyline than I was the supra even thought I found my na sup would only do this in the wet due to the lack to tubbies it was still a handful. I am planning to sell the skyline within the next 3-4monthys.I have always wanted a single turbo sup since seeing the videos and talk about them, but I want some one to tell me can you really drive them fast or is it all wheel spin? And is it point and shoot driving?.. I am tempted to go gtr just for the 4wd and get a torque splitter so I can choose the ratio of power so for some sideways fun put 80% to the rear wheels at the touch of a button. Since we have mostly wet weather the 4wd is really playing on my mind.

The whole bumper will not need to be resprayed so dont let them talk you into that ,anymore than 50 quid I would say rip off, whereabouts are you from dude ?.

Piece of cake matey,I have repaired my bottom lip on my skyline 3 times now after been broken completely in 2 pieces and once again in the middle ,fibre glass matt behind the crack, sand down the front slightly ,p40 over and around the area and this will hide the slightly raised spot. Sand and spray. Took me longer to get the bumper off than to do the repair .

If you have a power fc this can be a neat little trick as you can set the rev limiter to 3,000rpm unplug the commander ,hey presto no joy rides
