No problems before so its since fitting the fmic , intresting I have had a look and can not find anything either but the old search button can be a right pain when it wants to be. I did a ecu reset yesterday still the same

I have been having a problem with low pressure on the 1st turbo the car feels horrible to drive and really hesitant only in first and most of second gear, I recently fitted a greedy fmic so thought id pressure check the intercooler and pipe work which I found I did have a small leak where a clamp needed to be tightened just that little bit more. Anyways I am still only getting 0.48 peak on the first turbo in first gear, when the second one comes on the car still makes the correct 1.22bar. Any ideas? I have checked all the pipe work from the IACV it’s driving me mad.

Sorry to see it mate , I gave up taking a nice car to any car park years ago Ive been there myself as I am sure most of us have, I got my self a shit box run around 1.4 cheap on tax and fuel and went on multi car insurance some say its expensive, but not as expensive when you have to fork out for repairs plus when you go shopping etc its nice not to give a toss who or how close people are parked to you,when I bought the honda there was about 3-4 pin dents on the doors now no kidding there is sh** loads plus someone backed into the rear bumper, all I can think of that would have been my sup. Anyways I hope you get it sorted out soon.

I want to replace ALL of the sequential system hoses , what’s the best bet ? 1.Go to Toyota 2. A Hose Techniques kit Does Toyota do a part number that is the full kit? As I remember seeing on the underneath of my standard bonnet a diagram with the hoses and something about them being changed at 100km .

I was told it would , but I have one and had to take my TRD strut off it was holding the drivers side up it was close only touched it by a couple of mm

Thanks I will give it a go , problem is I have a 1.2bar r-ring so my ebc I have not plugged it in but I guess if I plug it in and leave it set to off it will still bypass the vsv for me

Cheers , does fitting a ebc do away with the VSV then ?

I will give that a go aswell ,does anyone else get this ...for example if I am in fourth give it some beans to so it builds up 1.2bar but not hold it flat out in 4 but change into 5th early then the exhaust note changes for around 3 seconds where there is no boost while something happens then I can hear the turbo spool again is this normal even if I keep my foot on the acc in the same place ? hard to explain really

Looking at the post number 31 you are missing the overflow pipe its only going to work if theres a problem or your overfill your expansion bottle, na/tt are the same in this aspect , I bet keron has loads.

lucky sod , I will check my readings but I know its not coming on it used to spin up in first I can feel and hear theres naff all at the moment

Same problem here , its happened since putting the car back on the road after a major service also fitted a fmic and removal the TC using a hks kit , for me it feels like there is no first or second turbo at all first gear is flat as you like, 2nd upwards its fine any ideas ?.

You can get replacement rings think they were £27 pair , on my old sup it came with some teins went to adjust them and the ring just snapped I was quite surprised how weak it was.

I know the orginal has rain deflectors has anyone got a picture of these?
