  3. http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=49263 Nice replica,
  4. Cheers Simon ,it has its few bad points as with any 16 year old car as to be expected , I was hoping to get it down to you for that quote to have the outside done looks like it will be after its all put back together now, I might have to drive around with odd colour door shuts until its done but thats okay.
  5. Thanks mate ,blimey though at this rate with all the nice comments I will be re-spraying it the same sliver which funny enough did cross my mind and seeing what matt (supra matt) did to his sup when it was white maybe a very small hint of blue pearl in the clear coat to make it a little something extra:) Black is the best colour for a hardtop I think, but on a aero when the roof is off it does not look right for some reason. Good point though I should go with what I like maybe not worry what others might think I just didn’t want to make the car look lax power mag material Thanks dude, however I am sure other sliver owners will notice , the sliver looks the nuts at night and when it’s not in direct sunlight as I find the paint to transparent it has no real deep reflection in sunlight as to other colours.
  6. Thanks for the kind comments , hopefully I do not ruin it trying to choose a colour is driving me mad , I have gone from RSP/ lambo gunmetal/ to same colour as orginal amo's old supra the lambo pearl yellow. I know the gunmetal will look class but it could be a standard colour I wouldn’t mind it having a bit of flare , Any ideas?
  7. http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/9540/dsc01498s.jpg Bumper off headlights out going to have a look at the end of the turbo http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/9442/dsc01502cy.jpg Small chip and one of the fins looks a bit mangled
  8. The start http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/2197/dsc01488t.jpg http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/4269/dsc01494ps.jpg http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/9049/dsc01493v.jpg If anyone is wondering what is the empty spray can doing in the end of the intercooler pipe that was me testing for leaks I swear I had one ,the other end is a bike tyre valve fibreglassed to a intercooler pipe. http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/6683/dsc01504tb.jpg A quick look at the underside while I am there undoing the front bumper. http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/1695/dsc01505gi.jpg I will reunderseal the whole car and also when I do the bush kit rub down and respray all of the arms.
  9. This is my first project thread so bare with me , My supra has moved far from where I bought when it was standard apart from a exhaust, major things already done by myself uk 6spd conversion +bpu . In this project Single install currently not yet decided I did have my mind set on the BL kit with a precision t6765 billet .81 ar but these BW kits from Paul are making me think. A full re-spray and general tidy up. Full bush kit Battery move to boot I will be doing all of the work myself so the project build probably won’t move as fast as most do , as I will only be able to work on the car at weekends and when the other half grants permission: D I will not be able to do the body respray as I do not have a oven but I will be doing the engine bay and all door shuts etc. Here is the car before I started; Current Spec Greddy FMIC 2 row Sard ECU K Sport 8 pot 356mm front brakes 6 Speed UK diff ADR 19 rims TRD wing Alloy rad Top secret bonnet BC racing coilovers RSR exhaust Double decat with 1.2 bar ring Pictures are before the top secret bonnet and fmic but it gives you a idea. http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/9743/dsc00690t.jpg http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/2820/dsc00819ad.jpg http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/7682/dsc00834n.jpg http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/6564/dsc01979o.jpg Dyno result before fitting a fmic http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/6843/dsc01591b.jpg

  12. I have a set mate , 2 years old bought from toyota no lips or anything in very good condition only taken off due to big brake kit. pm me if your intrested
  13. Doh my bad! silly me bit odd as looking at my old dyno plot for my skyline it shows the torque and power lines the other way round , its still alot higher than most just wondering if its down to the cast manifold or vvti.
  14. That’s a really nice result , I am looking to go single very soon, I have been looking and I was worried about lag as alot of t67 graphs before 3000 -3350 rpm they are barely making 100bhp yours is very high over 200, what is this down to the cast manifold or the vvti helping? Is yours t67 a billet?

    strut brace

Unless you are using the car on the track maybe, but on the road I doubt you will see any improvement for most its just for looks that’s my experience. Fitting a front and not a rear is fine.
  16. I love the I forged rims as well I think your right it about the kit run together it almost looks like a top secret wide body but the rear end is allot nicer not as square looking.
  17. Having a browse through you tube I found this ; anyone know what kit this is ?
  18. If you are on here hope you didnt get to much of a doing over , car looked sweet btw
  19. No I took the ebc out I installed it to bypass the IACV as a test, its got a 1.2bar cw restrictor ring I guess I will need a 1 bar ring and up the last little bit by putting the ebc back in ?
  20. lol it will be soon:) , cheers mate also when your ready I will get the extra red paint
  21. Hi mate, I am from Chichester how about you?. Cheers I spent the whole day yesterday checked all of the solenoid valves for resistance and air flow between correct ports when 12v applied, I rechecked the fmic and piping , while testing the solenoid’s I tested the hoses buy applying 10psi though them off the car it was then I found the culprit split hose from the iacv it was so small that’s why I missed it the first time round only under pressure it opened up , I have a new problem now ,I went out in it last night 1.32bar on the standard turbo’s peak before the install of a fmic was just on 1.2.
