  9. Thanks for the advice both of you, I was tempted to get new sleeves knocked out by my local metal works on the lathe but I think I will just use these with new bolts and see what happens.
  10. Nice rims mate I guess they cost allot, I am still looking. What about these rims I keep seeing them on SF but dont know what they are. http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/3643/resizedwhitesupramg0992.jpg
  11. I had a reply from Powerflex Hi Charles The bore of the sleeves are drilled out so there will be some small variation and generally we do leave a clearance between the bolt and bore. Once the bolt is tight it holds the sleeve in position so you would not get any movement between the bolt and sleeve. Most car manufactures have similar if not bigger clearances on the bushes, I have just checked one of the Supra original rear bushes, have not got an original front bush to hand, which measures 14.32 and uses a 14mm bolt. Please let me know if you have any further questions Best regards Paul Solbe Design & Development Manager
  12. What new wheels are you looking at bud ? , Ive been having a look need some wider wheels once the single install is done aswell hard to find right offset and looking for a dish aswell.

  15. http://www.aemeurope.com/varius/BoostVideo.php Third video down , shows a live setup of the wastegate spring setting.
  16. lol , waiting to hear back from them now.
  17. Thought I would look into this further , currently in talks with powerflex at the moment , Bolt is 13.99/13.90 so not bad for a 14mm bolt I will probably replace it just in case of any wear in certain areas of the bolt. The two upper wishbone sleeves appear to be slightly different each end , one end 14.12 and the other 14.37 I checked the bottom arms that seemed okay and as you can see they are 16.03 and 16.02 Is this within tolerance the upper wishbone? ,. Upper Wishbone bolt http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/9233/boltf.jpg http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/7521/dsc01763r.jpg Upper wishbone sleeve http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/4205/dsc01761yo.jpg Upper wishbone sleeve other end http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/7533/dsc01762g.jpg Lower arm sleeve http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/8892/dsc01765a.jpg Lower arm sleeve other end http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/1227/dsc01767j.jpg
  18. Cheers mate , same as the car really used a primer , then basecoat white, then 2 k clear lacquer. I have always done it this way in the past and the paint has never come off due to heat , good thing is with the clear coat the brakedust does not eat into the colour and its easy to clean.
  19. quick update http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/9730/img00051201006111446.jpg http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/6623/img00058201006151421.jpg http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/6278/dsc01719k.jpg http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/3986/dsc01715r.jpg Boot lid sprayed http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/2606/img00066201006171240.jpg Had some paint left over found the prop shaft . http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/4246/dsc01710c.jpg Hub and arms off http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/2679/img00072201006211541.jpg Degreased http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/8446/img00071201006211541.jpg Nightmare to mask up the ksport logo but I got there in the end doing it this way. http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/4861/img00073201006231240.jpg Busk kit fitted sorry theres no pics of this I will do it for the otherside I decided to stick with powerflex if I have to replace them in under 10k miles then atleast it will be easier to change plus I had already got them , I used a hole cutter to cut the bushes out had to buy the right size but they just fall out this way ,then used a hacksaw to remove the metal insert, also painted hub and arms and undersealed the whole arch. http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/5738/dsc01726m.jpg http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/3595/dsc01733k.jpg http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/1750/dsc01734st.jpg
  20. not much but compared to the lower arm allot as that was tight , if I put the wishbone into place with the bolt in and just put the nut on the end to hold it and wobble the whole arm you can hear and feel it move its almost like the bolt needs to be bigger just wondering if its normal as the standard bushes are the same.
  21. Just replacing my bushes with polybushes and the upper wishbone arm the one with the long bolt , the bolt has some play within the bush centre metal carrier , the bottom arms are so tight I had to tap the bolt through. Is this right ? I checked the factory bushes I took out and the same thing the bolt has some movement within the carrier's it must be causing a knocking noise ?.
