They do some nice rims , are those wide body rims going to be wrong offset most of them are +13 and +7 ?
-
Damn I thought it would be thats those rims out of the question I would try pulling the arches but Simons just painted the car so not a option now , intresting thanks for the info so if I was looking for a 295 on the rear I need to be looking at 18x10.5 on a et 40 then ? Got a plan up my sleeve get a cheap second hand pair of work rezax's or vs-xx with small width etc seen some for £600 fit them on and measure out to the arch and you can buy brand new lips for $260 from 1-6inches . http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-5-REPLACEMENT-LIP-WORK-VS-XX-EQUIP-REZAX-18-RIM-/140573423811?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20bad438c3

Looking at some alloys my rear arches are rolled but thats it stock body fronts 18x9 offset + 25mm they also do +35mm on the fronts but the rears are 18x10.5 +20mm I am guessing the rears will be to arggressive ? if so what offset do I need to look for at these sizes ?

Hard choice mate , I guess a strut would cover your engine a bit which would be ashame so I say without

Just to say a massive thanks to Simon as he re-sprayed my car , I am over the moon with the finish I cannot recommend his services enough thanks again mate . Throughout the process Simon kept me updated and I now have 196 pictures of the work that has been done . He did a few jobs while he was there removed the rear Ariel , rolled rear arches , de-lined mirrors and removed every single pin dent on the body . Here are a few pictures I will post up some more in my project thread soon . http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/3700/dsc01372yt.jpg http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/997/dsc01375gm.jpg http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/601/dsc01393m.jpg http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/1853/dsc01404cf.jpg http://img607.imageshack.us/img607/2369/dsc01418p.jpg http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/3724/dsc01446bo.jpg http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/6421/dsc01449s.jpg http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/3871/dsc01468u.jpg http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8084/dsc01543ww.jpg http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/2189/dsc01544et.jpg http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/2656/dsc01574za.jpg http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/8246/dsc01594xr.jpg http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/323/dsc01618ra.jpg http://img854.imageshack.us/img854/7874/dsc01629q.jpg http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/3511/dsc01638v.jpg http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/1546/dsc01642k.jpg http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/5323/dsc01689z.jpg http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/216/dsc03154h.jpg http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/5954/dsc03158b.jpg http://img851.imageshack.us/img851/8179/dsc03159p.jpg

I never knew the air con stuff would sell I chucked mine in the bin :-(
-
Id never fit one of these , I remember seeing a thread on driftworks a long time ago asking why they did not sell them and owner Phil replied something along the lines of he knows of at least 5 engines being lost to it and would never sell them.

Chris XP pro is okay but make sure atleast service pack 2 or 3 is installed to cater for multiple core processors as mentioned it does have a limit of 4gb but if your software will not work with windows 7 or 64bit then xp it is . Video editing is very demanding of a pc more so than playing a first person shooter game ,what software are you using to encode/render your video and do you know what your frames per second rate of render is at the moment inculding output size and codec used?. Belive it or not some say solid state hard drives are not ideal for video editing against a 7600rpm disk drive the sequential write is actually slower but ssd gains in all other areas see graph. I would not let this put you off though I have used ssd drive at work since they first come out and its a big difference not only that drives installed 2 years ago are still performing like new used everyday as we all have probably experinced disk drives begin to get slower and slower to the point you can hear it working . http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/908/ssdvshddbenchmark.gif I would look towards ; Intel I5 Quad Core 3.1ghz processor http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=509543&CatId=2963 £150 Asus P8P67-M Pro Version 3 Socket LGA1155 http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=524710&CatId=3747 £112 Hypertec HP Equivalent 4 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 RAM X2 http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=405714&CatId=3265 x2 £38 Sapphire Radeon HD5750 1GB PCI-Express Graphics Card http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=508001&CatId=2697 £89 Akasa ES Power 550W Power Supply http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=503852&CatId=41 £47 Crucial 256GB RealSSD C300 2.5 SATA Solid State Hard Drive http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=433836&CatId=3635 £310 Total of £746 inculding the vat Maybe a new case £60ish but I suspect your existing case is atx and will do the job.
